That's forgetting about shadow of war, which was a singleplayer game with this lootbox/gacha shit. a similar system has also been confirmed to exist in xenoblade chronicles 2 with how the game doles out blades to the player. But it's somehow different this time, and completely defensible, because anthem is multiplayer. Lootboxes are the future.
