Sanae is better played as bomberman than fightan.

I have a somewhat basic idea of the mechanics of this game, I used to play Suika but I guess I will learn how to play Reisen. I don't see any point in trying to learn the others because I don't find them fun.

looks like the lag/disconnects don't want us to continue. GGs for now man, maybe another time it'll sort itself out.

It seems you either keep crashing or getting DCed, it's really jarring considering you're really good at comboing with sakuya but you need to learn to graze a bit more and to use your C attacks, specially 6c more often as they have higher priority then most other projectiles.

Maybe it's my net acting up, maybe it's something else. Eitherway, still hostan for whoever wants to join.

thanks for the pointers, I'll keep that in mind for next time. the comboing probably comes from all my practice with confirms in other fightans, but I definately do need to learn graze timings better and unfuck my understanding of projectiles.

Actually, i'm gonna go take a nap now. Thread's on bumplimit now, so i hope it can last until tomorrow for some games.

I'm actually really terrible at fightan games, the only reason i'm good at patchy is because she can spam high-damaging projectiles, and because of intense bullying sessions with . It's just a matter of reading the wiki and finding counters to other character's tools. By the way you did a good job once you actually got me in a corner with all that melee pressure, since most of patchy's defense is preventing the enemy from even getting her in a corner, and once she's in there you can just continue endless pressure because her melee is just too slow to retaliate.

Game lagged for a bit at first. it was fine for most of the Meiling matches.
My real problem is that I'm a raging autist who doesn't like to block and I have no one of comparable skill level to play against.

You shouldn't block very often in this game, if you overblock you lose. Just make sure to block on wakeup, then try to do enough footsies to land a first hit, melee or ranged. There's plenty of first-time players in this thread, forward port 10800 and host a game here yourself next time.

I'll probably forget when I wake up.
