Does this mean that it kills link monsters and all the cards linked to them? Running off the asumption that linked monsters create extra monster zones anyway.

Konami is dead-set on making cards/mechanics that feel like they should be from a decade ago, also I can see some cheese on that third effect unless
is wrong. It does seem as though linked zones are just monster zones "that allow extra deck monsters", though.

he allows you to make relatively decent monsters
easily
look at hanzo, he's got an even better effect, and it's even easier to special summon him, but ninjas in general don't have anything amazing that they can immediately use for huge gains
