Name a better rpg battle system

Is there any other game that has a rhythm aspect to the RPG system like Mother 3? I thought that was fun

combat is about maneuvering around your enemy and finding weak positions, understanding their counters and openings, maximizing your stats for specific situations (you can change your stat distribution at any time at the cost of a move bar) and determining weak points.

Yeah I guess growlancer does have a better battle system than grandia. You have waits for movement too and certain people move faster than others.
