I'm hoping it might have just been Terra. He was a little too slow for me but is there a movement or play guide that can help me gut gud? I fucking see jap players zig zag across the screen while playing most KH games as if it was DMC.

The challenge doesn't scare me, it's the bullshit in the challenge where just when you get the hang of it the games says fuck you and changes everything. The momentum shifted so fast to me that Terra's last fight felt like I was playing a different game.

Some of the stages are pretty long and I haven't managed to dodge everything yet, so I save multiple times on some stages.

Part of the problem could be the commands you're using. I can't remember for the life of me what worked best on Terra's final boss when playing on critical. I think it's either making several thunder blitzes or strikes. Upgrading your stats to max also helps with dodging and holding on enough to heal.

The only time I ever tried save scumming was the original Mega Man when going up against the boss that keeps teleporting back and forth. I was too disgusted with myself and quit a little afterwards without beating the game.

I'm reading now that there are some moves where you can't be hit during the start up of said move. I don't like looking things like this up until after I finished a game and decide if it's worth replaying but fuck this. I want to at least have a little understanding this cluster fuck of a story
This happened with me with Fire Emblem PoR. I was enjoying the fuck out of it but that fucking mission where you have to protect the port from the army that comes in on boat. I save scummed but then just stopped playing because I was mad but I'm replaying it after the KH series.

I think I have a special kind of autism because every game that I play I have to finish it, wither I liked it, it turned to shit during the middle of the game or it's just bullshit all around I just have to finish it.

I've done that when I was a kid, but nowadays it just takes out the fun of the game. I save scum fairly regularly on Fire Emblem though, for those random 3% crits you take and lose a character out of fucking nowhere, and general RNG fuckery.

Yeah it really does fuck you over sometimes, hell even the arena is a big fuck you. I had my paladin fighting a berserker and he was 1 strike away from killing him with loads of hp and the mad man actually got a fucking crit
