Do you tell girls/boys your power level?

The only person i've revealed my power level to is my mother, who is pretty left leaning anyway. Not sure about others though.

My parents had the luxury of voting for what I was told was the biggest and most successful Communist party in the history of the West.

Since I live in that country - the same country where Bella ciao was played at Dario Fo's funeral - and I do not ever interact with Holla Forumsyps or people molested by the clergy, I need never, ever to hide my power level.

Italy have so strong communist party?

God no. It seems like every person I've gotten along with recently later reveals themselves to be hardcore right-wingers, so I'm as deep in the commie closet as ever. They're all young too, which is a little disconcerting.

Boys/girls yes, but only if I know they'll be comfortable with it (if they aren't, then it's not going anywhere anyway because politics is too big a part of my life). My parents kinda know but I haven't really told them so I don't think they actually really do know and just think I'm a socdem with slightly more radical rhetoric.

Nobody knows except my anonymous leftypol comrades ;^(

Had. Past tense.

In 1976 the Partito Comunista Italiano was very few % points away from Democrazia Cristiana, the leading party, winning some 34% of voters.

The US and the Church did all manner of ideological devilry they could think of to prevent an overtake, which was a very real possibility.

Of course the US were terrified by the perspective of a Country on the West side of the Berlin Wall going Red…

And in 1984 the PCI won the European elections, the first and only time an actual victory happened.

you are all faggots. how can you be ashamed of being communists? people have sacrificed so much for communism, and you cant even stand up for your ideology?

this is whats left of the left in the year 2016

You're right in saying we shouldn't be ashamed of being communists, but "people died for X" is a pretty terrible argument. People died for Nazism too…

My family and some friends have an inkling of an idea. However, I don't think anyone knows how far deep into the rabbit hole I am.
