Actually I've just had an idea.
Why not play as the detective club?
The student council in Jap schools usually doles out minor punishment for minor infractions- untidy uniform, basically not acting civil.
Start of the school year during a presentation- the video protector is hijacked and projects a warning from the "Purge Club". A group who claims they'll kill off anyone who doesn't fit in with the schools morals.
You sign up to a club that would be justice related (photography for bonuses surveillance, martial arts for combat, physchology for interviewing and investigating people, computer for hacking, or science for forensics).
You have to work out who the next victim will be (a student or teacher who has done something- drugs, adultery, compensated dating, etc), who the murderer is, how to prevent the murder, and bringing the killer to justice.
Either kill the killer and not get caught, get evidence that condemns the killer, or catch the killer almost doing the murder but saving the victim and presenting said evidence. Capturing the murderer only helps if you have evidence they are the killer.
It happened in SV5 threads and other threads for games that got cucked.
I'm not gonna pretend good games don't get ruined by the current culture.
Everyone is sore right now. In the future we might talk about the game- but not without also talking about it being cucked.
Thing is he had the audience. He could have put out anything and the youtube autists would have bought it- they'd have just whined about things they didn;t understand after.
He already had his money.
But now he's decided to lose 20% of it so the children don't whine- who no one listens to.
And he's dead. Fuck 'em. How can you not know Kotakus reputation and be from here?
Fuck him with a red-hot poker. I actually wish he did come to these threads just to tell him to fuck off.
Also, that fucking headline.
> Lets call him secretive! It's not true, but it sounds deep and interesting!
Lets just call him YandereCuck or CuckDev from now on.
Although the second one could apply to a lot of people.
Talk to AGDG threads, but:
1. Get the idea down on paper. The very basics. Idea, genre, mechanics. Not the story- just the mechanics and maybe style.
2. Research. Look into other games of the genre. One of the very few things CuckDev did right was research games that did the features he wanted to do. Don't just watch youtube videos, play the game. How responsive is it? What's the rhythm? When can you first do it? How do you know how to do it? How quickly did it take to become second nature? And why to all of the above and more.
3. Actually learn code. This should probably be step one, along with a few months of making prototypes. Not of the game you want to make- simple shit. Getting a character to move and interact with stuff. Learn what you can and can't do. Learn how to overcome what you struggle with- but try to learn how to do it rather than make work-arounds.
4. Get some prototypes of the game up and show them to everyone- not just Holla Forums. See if you can get someone to make 3D assets on board. Only a few will share your vision. Less then half will be good. Less than half of that will stay until the end.
5.
Don't let anyone dictate what you do, even Holla Forums
You can take advice from anywhere, weigh up the pros and cons, and decide if it'll work. If you just do it because it "sounds good"- you are a moron and a cuck, even if you are guided right from it. Know why you're doing something.
Even if all of Holla Forums is screaming that they want something- why? How does it change the game? Is that a change your target audience would want? Is that a change YOU would want?
So, learn to make game, make game, don't answer to anyone (but take on board stuff said by people who know what they are talking about).
It was a ruse cruise. He knew we were gonna be to demanding so he looked for a way to drive us off.
All it's done is made us think of ways to drive him into the ground.
