Also the game gets updated slowly since it has a skeleton crew working on it.
Unreal Tournament
???
No it fucking isn't, you didn't have slide, link gun pull, wall slide or rockets that move at 60 mph in the other ut games.
They change shit about the mechanics without understanding the formula and the dev team claims to be taking input from the community but the only "community" on their forums are UT 99 elitists who have deluded themselves into thinking that game was perfect in spite of its shit weapon balance.
Only about 6 devs are working on it.
Yeah it has no advertising because its still in pre alpha
Skeleton crew means as few people as possible working on it. And yeah, its getting updated at an abysmal rate which is inexcusable for a large publishing company. Fuck UT 4.
How does that work ?
Which ones are faster ? I can't tell anymore, haven't played older UTs in decades.
These are still smaller changes, compared to those in Doom, Quake, CS and etc.
You say that as if slide and link gun pull are bad things.
Slide is call of duty bullshit, and link gun pull would be good if it were well implemented but its not. Right now its a fucking death sentence, but then UT weapon balance has always sucked. Quake is better.
tencent
Early access / alpha means no one with a clue will touch this shit and the oldschool FPS audience is well clued. This arrangement of total access plus repulsion guarantees minimum hype and no one will likely even notice if the game is released or cancelled. I feel sorry for the devs they dumped on this, they must be interns or something.
