It was 5 dollars, I thought it was worth that much. I soon realized that was too much for the game

Forgot to add the more subjective stuff. It feels like the movement options are spaced out pretty poorly. You get a magnet thing in the first area, then double jump close to the halfway point or so, and in Drac's castle you get a wall movement ability you'll use maybe 5 times if you go back for the few treasures. I'm assuming I get flight soon because I've seen areas I can't reach with my current jumps. There's also swimming but you only really use it in one room outside of the two dedicated aquatic areas. It also feels like saves and warps are too sparse and spread out in some areas. Portrait of Ruin had the opposite problem where it would give you too many, but this is too far in the other direction.

Don't forget the helicopter section that controls nothing like a helicopter. You could pitch the nose directly down or up without causing it to drop, let alone move an inch in ANY direction. That was the most laughable part of that shit game.

I wish mine would work. Ever since Dead Money came out, my head randomly explodes. New saves, modded or unmodded, doesn't matter. My head blows up every so often, out of nowhere.

Oh, well that doesn't help me now. When making my pawn, I was looking at his voices and didn't understand what I was signing up for considering 'test voice' only lets you hear grunts. I ended up with something that sounds like a really deep-voiced mii. Bothers the living shit out of me.

It might be because the game thinks you've still got the collar on from the DLC, and you're outside the map so your head explodes. Try getting the mod that removes the collar from Dead Money, that might fix it.

Tried that too, ages ago. It doesn't seem to have any set pattern to it, though I guess "random" isn't really accurate. If I reload after it blows up, it'll blow up at the same time it did before. 30 seconds after the save I loaded means I have 30 seconds to turn on god mode, shit like that. It's frustrating, either way.

i really like it
the gameplay is great, boss fights are unique, story is the same as god of war but you're not the dick here
downside is that it's made in unity and it runs like shit - 10 to 15 fps
then there's some retarded gameplay choices for some of the encounters
like in the fight with artemis, first she transforms you into an antelope and chases you until you collect 5 shrines on the level, then the roles switch and you have to chase her when she's an antelope until she does the same thing you did. problem is, that this is neverending until you kill her or she kills you. and if you run out of ranged ammo, you're fuck then
then there's the poseidon fight - you're on a boat in the sea, poseidon finally catches you and starts beating you. his giant weapon can easily knock your boat in the air, with you in it, which usually results in you falling into the sea, where his mermen and fish try to kill you. that's all fine and dandy. but if you stay in the water too long, and he hits your boat too much, it get's destroyed. and unless you have hundreds of tridents, you can't hurt him while you're in the water. so i ended up having to redo the fight like 10 times till i finally managed to kill him with my boat in tact

Multiplayer in that game was pretty god-tier, though, at least for the modern shooter genre.
Big maps, moving maps, loads of fun vehicles, interesting little bits here and there. Rather liked that "shoot better players and get extra points for dealing with a HVT".

Too bad it died almost immediately. Hardly anyone played when I got it.
Campaign was fuckin' awful, though, yeah.

I did not. There's no digital version, and physical copies are hard to come across. It's also $50 for a used copy. From what I understand, the first game only covers up to the end of the Raoh saga, but the second game is from start to finish of the manga and anime.

Personally, I liked the story up until it forces you into some awkward areas by taking away player decision.

For instance, I thought princess lady was giving me a quest, but instead I got thrown in jail. Three issues with that, first being "why can't I tell her I am not interested in cucking Duke Fagtron", "why can't I kill Duke Fagtron then and there for strangling princess cucksworth [also why'd I wait so long?]", and of course "why should I let princess cucksworth lie about me getting me whipped and shit instead of beating the fuck out of Duke Fagtron and his faggot pansy guards who later I end up farming".
That you get scared for no reason and run away endgame from duke's shit tier guards is rather gay to me, as well. Those guys were piss-easy, and I could shank every one of them.

Also the ending was weird. I mean, if being an Arisen is all about going over the hill and shit, why do you give up, sit down, and let the cycle continue? That's gay. Stop the cycle, instead.

I've only played the first two levels so far and it's been pretty fun. The biggest complaint I have is that there's long stretches with no action that are dedicated to a few spooks that are mostly predictable. One particularly annoying part is there's a sequence where you go up some stairs and there's like demons or something that run at you and hurt, but I didn't realize they hurt me until I got hit because every other spooky thing running at me leading up to it just went through me doing nothing. It was a very "wait, what?" moment that kind of pissed me off.
The game got me a few times to it's credit. The ladder bit that had a two for one spook sale and another bit where you go into a room, press a button, and when you turn around the girl is outside the window looking at you. Her being outside the window wasn't the part that got me, but when you leave the room she's still there and walks towards you. I fully expected her to just disappear after I left the room.

It's pretty much just there. If you liked Triple Deluxe you'll like this since it's more of the same. The past games are way better, though.
