However, you have to pay attention to the most important part: Can they? YES. Will they? NO.
I'm expecting 2 or maybe 3 Electors to go faithless, but not the ~40 required to shift the election.
There is that one elector in Washington state who said he'd be faithless and vote for Trump. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.

Also I don't get why people keep bitching about muh popular vote. Do they seriously think that just because they won the popular in a campaign where everybody focuses on electoral votes, they would still win if the system was changed? Because everybody would campaign and vote exactly the same even after the system changes, right?
