I think most of Holla Forums is assuming WL twitter is compromised and all of the wag the dog just further validates that he's awol. Either captured or fled.

Yeah, the twitter thing is odd.
Personally, I believe he's either captured or has escaped, due to all the fuckery and happenings between the Anderson visit and getting his net cut off. But I don't think that speculating over where he may be is terribly productive, I don't think there's anything any of us can do in that regard. (Not trying to black pill, please correct me if I'm wrong).
However, I think the fact that T&C have come out with an inflammatory statement that practically screams HI WE'RE CIA is a bigger deal than most people seem to believe. They could have slunk off into the shadows after the entrapment plan failed. They could have disappeared after WL publicised the emails and investigation. But they haven't. They're actually trying to fight back despite all the evidence against them actually being a legit company - why?
If they're fighting back, then we have to believe that their post-deadline plan is still in place.

If we assume he is still in the Embassy without Internet or communication of any kind he is unable to properly counter these acquisitions. The Twitter could be compromised, but the account being compromised could also be a narrative that gets pushed. Both are harmful regardless.
Post deadline plan could be to get him out of the embassy. Pushing for a court case by doubling down on the todd and claire case could be the means. An Assange in the open would not be good for obvious reasons.
The defense in this case would be easy tho, since only 18+ may use the site
