This is sadly true, the jew was going to publish the article no matter what Sam would've said to him, but that was not what fucked the show up, because Sam felt untouchable he thought he was above the media (probably thought he was like Trump or something like that) so Viewtiful Joe of course seeked revenge after getting insulted by him and kept pushing and pushing for the show to get cancelled; had Sam been more level-headed we would be seeing the trailer for the second season.
