Le them try. It would look terrible if they tried to have a debate without proper vetting, and even worse if they cancel after being exposed as not properly vetting people and then never scheduling a new one. It would expose them hard. Exposing these people also puts pressure on them since some of them, like Holt, have their reputations on the line. If they exposed, they are gone.
