there is evidence everywhere. look at the standard american diet. look at what foods are made the most easily available to the public, what foods are advertised the most, what health problems they cause, what drugs are made and strongly advertised to solve the problems that the bad foods caused, and what side effects those drugs have and how they effect your long term health.

human beings have nutritional needs. we need vitamins and minerals.
animal flesh doesn't contain all the vitamins and minerals we need, but plants have a much larger variety of them than animal products do.

amino acids
(hemp protein powder is great for this since it contains ALL the essential and non essential amino acids!)
eating both hemp protein powder and spirulina powder is an excellent way to stay on top of your essential and non essential amino acid needs.

I like to sprinkle spirulina and hemp protein powder on my cereal. turns it an alien blue green color, tastes the same. smells chalky though.
hemp protein powder is great to add with some cacao powder and raisins in the blender with just water, you don't even need milk. makes the best the best the best chocolate protein smoothie I ever drank.

All this shit sounds like fear mongering, tbh. Maybe he's misinterpreting the data. Maybe the data is biased in his favor. Maybe there's some validity to what he's saying, but there are also methods by which some of these negative affects can be mitigated. You know, you won't live forever, everything's gonna kill you, every year that you spend alive is another year during which your body will accumulate toxins and increase your risk of developing cancer or whatever the fuck. Also, let's not forget that the body is capable of filtering and removing free radicals via your immune system. It's not just for viral infections, you know. I'm not too worried about it.
there is evidence everywhere. look at the standard american diet. look at what foods are made the most easily available to the public, what foods are advertised the most, what health problems they cause, what drugs are made and strongly advertised to solve the problems that the bad foods caused, and what side effects those drugs have and how they effect your long term health.
While you have a point, this sort of thing can also be written off as circumstantial. What you really need is some smoking gun, something substantial that can not only establish a connection between representatives of these organizations but also evidence of a concerted attempt at developing a pact between one another to destroy human lives for any given motive. You won't find such a thing outside of a Saturday morning cartoon villain's lair, though.
animal flesh doesn't contain all the vitamins and minerals we need, but plants have a much larger variety of them than animal products do.
Yes, fair enough. However, it is fallacious to suggest that animal flesh does not contain any nutritional value whatsoever. Also, I am not trying to suggest that plant matter isn't worthy of consumption, it is absolutely valuable.

It's pretty obvious you are making it appear like fear mongering. you do know there are bad fats and good fats right? you do know that eating certain ways affects your health right? you do know that chemicals and pollutants contaminate the environment and linger there right? you do know that animals grown for human consumption are fed and administered all kinds of drugs and antibiotics and pesticide contaminated genetically modified animal feed right? you do know bioaccumulation is a real thing right?

Maybe he's misinterpreting the data.
Maybe the data is biased in his favor.
Maybe there's some validity to what he's saying, but there are also methods by which some of these negative affects can be mitigated.
Maybe, Maybe, Maybe. that's all you can say because you don't know shit. why should anyone follow a method to mitigate a negative effect of a bad food when they could completely avoid that bad food and it's bad effects all together to begin with? very defeatist of you to imply that you prefer to continue to expose yourself to something you could avoid and just worry about the consequences to the health of the human body later. very careless and nutritionally unaware way of thinking.

Easton Lewis
Easton Lewis

You know, you won't live forever, everything's gonna kill you, every year that you spend alive is another year during which your body will accumulate toxins and increase your risk of developing cancer or whatever the fuck.
so let's just give up right? lets all eat lots of horrible shit, get really sick, and get put on a bunch of medications that fuck us up worse to keep us alive from the bad way of eating we could have avoided to begin with. defeatist.

Also, let's not forget that the body is capable of filtering and removing free radicals via your immune system. It's not just for viral infections, you know.
I'm not too worried about it.
that's because you're careless and stupid and don't want to learn. alot of bad things accumulate in the body faster than the body can get rid of it. considering everything is so full of shit, it's pretty smart to minimize exposure whenever and however possible. not so that you live forever, but so that you live the years in good health and in peace.

<there is evidence everywhere. look at the standard american diet. look at what foods are made the most easily available to the public, what foods are advertised the most, what health problems they cause, what drugs are made and strongly advertised to solve the problems that the bad foods caused, and what side effects those drugs have and how they effect your long term health.

another convenient cop-out. there is no ONE smoking gun and that is why you attempt to draw attention to the possibility of finding such a thing so that you can claim that it hasn't been found and justify your end of the argument.

we do have omnivorous capabilities but why should we eat things that don't absolutely serve our health, and why shouldn't we eat things that are absolutely fucking great for us?

if we can eat plants, we should eat plants. if we can decide to not eat animal products, not for any ethical reasons but for health reasons, we should decide to not eat those things. we can have an entire country, or even a whole world of people with massive percentages less of heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, athrosclerosis, and many more health problems.

Alright, whatever you say, pal.
why should we eat things that don't absolutely serve our health, and why shouldn't we eat things that are absolutely fucking great for us?
Because health doesn't necessarily matter as much as our own enjoyment of life. Is cotton candy healthy? What about alcoholic beverages? What about cigarettes? What about being confined to a sedentary lifestyle? No, they're not, but these things can be pleasurable. Call it a hedonistic approach, but so long as one isn't hurting anyone other than themselves, what should it matter if they decide to eschew their own health in favor of indulging in these things?

there's loads of proof and evidence supporting that eating animal products is shit for your health and are some of the largest contributing factors to many of the health problems in the USA.

muh defeatist
muh you're not allowed to eat what you want
I'm not interested in going to go to your house and tell you what you can and can't do. I came to the thread and read it and some people genuinely seemed interested in being healthy, so I offered advice.
What if I don't give a shit about my health and I just want to enjoy a tasty steak, huh? Who are you to tell me that's wrong?
the funny thing about this is that we can both agree that you are Not interested in anything I have to say, since you want to just do whatever you want be it good or bad or somewhere in between. that being established, I think it's funny that you of all people who are the most uninterested in my advice are the person who has chosen to debate me and argue with me and try to throw a tantrum because your man feelings got kicked in the steak chops or some shitty metaphore etc. My guess, and it isn't even so much a guess at this point is that you are projecting really hard because you are severely insecure even to yourself about what you eat. it's almost as if you know that what you eat is fucking crap and you feel the need to verbally fight anyone who believes in eating anything better than you because you have a dietary inferiority complex and can't accept the fact that someone else is eating something better that you are. this probably dates back to some ancient survival mechanism that caused some ancient person alot of survival related stress and worries when they saw their figurative "neighbor" eating better foods and made them think about their own poor chance of surviving compared to them. you should shake off that feeling and do what you have the power to do right now. go to the store and buy healthier foods and improve yourself. it's the obvious and logical thing to do. I'm not a doctor, so don't even trust me. but go and make an effort, do your own research, and talk to your own doctor. just try.

I can't provide a substantial piece of evidence that solidifies the existence of a conspiracy between food and pharmacy officials
<I can't stare substantial evidence in every aspect of my entire life right in the face.
but my "gut" says it's true so it must be true
<my gut says greasy burgers are good so it must be true
Alright, whatever you say, pal.
<hope you stay healthy, whatever.

why should we eat things that don't absolutely serve our health, and why shouldn't we eat things that are absolutely fucking great for us?

Because health doesn't necessarily matter as much as our own enjoyment of life.
<but better health=better quality of life=more enjoyement because of less pain, stress, and health problems from eating shitty food.
<healthy food can taste good too, I'll give you a few recipes if you want.

<you can have both you know. doesn't have to be so black and white.

b-but I must save the world

produces a whole shitload less than animals grown for human consumption if you care about that.
I doubt it.
just because something wont kill me doesn't mean that it wouldn't damage my health.
So you're worried about mercury poisoning from consuming fish? Unless you're consuming pounds of fish a day, you've nothing to worry about. Whatever, though, you can believe your scare mongering doctor.
diet is a huge huge angle of exposure
Yeah, well, you can be the healthiest person in the world and still live in a metropolitan area and consume carcinogens from simply breathing.
there's loads of proof and evidence supporting that eating animal products is shit for your health
I doubt it.
the funny thing about this is that we can both agree that you are Not interested in anything I have to say
Yet you continue to keep flapping your metaphorical gums. Why not just fuck off already, friend?
that being established, I think it's funny that you have chosen to debate me and try to throw a tantrum because your man feelings got kicked in the steak chops or some shitty metaphore
Is that what this is? A debate? Sounds more like you're a busybody faggot who is trying so hard to convince everyone that you've got the right answers and everyone should listen to what you have to say, when it's clear that nobody gives a shit.
My guess is that you are projecting really hard because you are severely insecure even to yourself about what you eat. it's almost as if you know that what you eat is fucking crap and you feel the need to verbally fight anyone who believes in eating anything better than you because you have a dietary inferiority complex and can't accept the fact that someone else is eating something better that you are. this probably dates back to some ancient survival mechanism that caused some ancient person alot of survival related stress and worries when they saw their figurative "neighbor" eating better foods and made them think about their own poor chance of surviving compared to them. you should shake off that feeling and do what you have the power to do right now. go to the store and buy healthier foods and improve yourself. it's the obvious and logical thing to do.
Hilarious, and equally incorrect, assumptions there, friend. I don't even understand how someone could be insecure about something as straightforward as eating. Do people actually feel self conscious about their dietary choices?
I'm trying to arm you with the tools of knowledge so that you can start whenever you want, even if that's never.
So far you've succeeded in providing what amounts to fear mongering and propaganda from dubious sources. Fuck your unsolicited opinion, tbh. You're a vegan? Good for you, but your moral grandstanding is not valid, because it doesn't make you better than anyone else, and I am highly skeptical that a vegan diet is somehow better for you than a well balanced diet of meats and vegetables.

HAHAHAHA!!! What a fucking tard.
he thinks he's vegan when he's eating spider legs/insects that get smashed in there during production
What a nigger. Also, the last time I went vegan (I actually did tbh) was when I was in high school. I ate nothing but vegetables (while carefully watching what I eat, counting calories, protein, fats, vitamins, etc) and despite having eating the recommended amount/even more every day I still ended up feeling very ill. I also felt angry all the time as well (naturally angry, I couldn't figure out why I was angry), and I was not a vegan over ideological reasons either, it was all for health reasons. Needless to say, after about a year of this I just couldn't take it anymore and slowly but surely quit. I can even recall the first thing I ate as well… it was a 17 inch bass I caught from a lake nearby and after fried her up and ate it I already started to feel a bit better. So, basically I kept fishing whenever I could and after a couple months I turned back to store bought meat. Although I am a bit wary of gmos/probiotics though. So I try to buy meat that has (all natural, or organic stamped on it) as much as I can despite not having much money to do so. Honestly though, I'm never going back to that hell of being a vegan ever again so fuck you.

Also, I forgot to add I felt like I had no energy to do things as well (despite eating 2000 calories or more a day) I was depressed and somewhat suicidal as well (I'm not sure if this has anything to do with veganism but it happened at the same time). I also forgot to mention that I did feel kind of bad about farm animals (and still kind of do) being abused (so it was somewhat ideological on a ideological basis), that's exactly why when I caught fish and tried to make it just with protein what I caught (I gave a good run about it tbh). Catching wild un-abused fish also made me feel better about eating meat because when I had keepers I always bashed their skulls in to end their misery (with a hammer). If I could make it with just wild animals I would tbh. I've also been thinking about getting a hunting license and hunting for dear as well. That would supply myself with meat for months on end tbh.
