I think I phrased it wrong, we aren't trying to convince the people we're debating with, we want to convince the ones that are watching the debate.

I think there are many leftist lurkers hanging around on Holla Forums, this is the group that needs to convinced that his/her idealogy is wrong.

Also, there are probably lurkers here that are on our side, but unsure how debate leftists, by argueing with the leftists, they will know how to argue with them in the future.
