I think that if Bucky had died, Cap would have taken it out on Tony and still split the team based on "You killed the wrong man" and become a criminal when he started calling the UN out on their shit and they go full damage control mode.

It was okay. Better than Avengers 2, not as good as Cap 2. Really they just fucked up by making Ultron the big bad in Avengers 2, no one gives a fuck about Ultron. Thanos needed to be the bad guy in Avengers 2 as was the original plan, Cival War needed to be Avengers 3 and since that's the last movie in Chris Evans' contract you could have killed him at the end to lend the whole saga TON more weight. Maybe afterwards Bucky gets an arm transplant from his corpse so he doesn't have to run around with that goofy CGI arm anymore when he's Cap.
The reason Cap is the best Avenger and has the best movie series is partly because he's the only fucker there that's not CGI. Everything he does has weight because it's an actual human being doing that shit.
