I was burned by the awful initial drivers for the RX 480, ended up just returning it and getting a GTX 1060 which i guess was a bit slower but worked completely fine out of the box.Then, everyone hyped the shit out of the 5700, so I got one, and, the fucking thing barely worked. Older games had just constant low framerate, newer games kept crashing the driver, black screening. Apparently driver issues again. Returned it and bought an RTX 2070. Again, probably slower, but worked fine. I am so fucking done with AMD's shit. I thought bad drivers were just a meme but 2 of their most popular cards laucnhed with absolute dogshit drivers that made them a complete pain in the ass.
