Like while Emma was doing talk shows and playing a couple side characters like the one in Noah, you had Radcliffe doing whatever odd thing seemed to come his way. Which helped kill off the idea he had this completely clean cut image that would stay with him from one movie to the next.

I think Emma was decent in the Harry Potter movies.
That she's wooden and terrible now seems a symptom of her desire to just be the pretty girl running around being a spokesman for feminism all the time. She could have taken the Daniel route and done some different plays along with more arthouse movies to just get experience, but instead she's going about as the pretty girl which will only work for a couple more years before people get tired of seeing her.
