Uncle Buck

Basically "give us more shekels for our terrible agenda-ridden writing".

They would most likely remake it with a white guy selling meth, because all white men are murderers, and set in some flyover state in the midwest because all the horrible people who wont vote shillary live there as well

I agree with this. I just watched Uncle Buck Movie recently since it happened to be on and it has a totally different tone than this one is trying? to imitate.

This is just a bland comedy that is using the Uncle Buck name to sell it. Of course you've got to update it so you can date the series in current black stereotypes. Mike Epps is just acting like himself and this series would have been better if played that character up more because he's no uncle Buck.

Little black girl twerking and using a chainsaw to break down a door to stop a girl making out with jerk guy is not even remotely close to the original Uncle Buck in any sense of the word. The original Uncle Buck had a surprising amount of drama and heartfelt moments resolved in a competent way with the comedy. Jokes in this one just go in one ear and out the other. It was right to kick Buck out of the way at the end of the first episode but since the teen daughter hugged the mother, now it's okay for him to stay in the house. Didn't make sense because the mother clearly heard her younger daughter say she learned twerking from a prostitute. The only reason she agreed because they wanted to establish the status quo for the rest of the season.

It's not as bad as the School of Rock tv series but it's still bad. It's more forgettable than anything. What is with so many revival of old movies and tv series this year that just fail so miserably?

Nobody should watch this because in the end, it's just a bad sitcom. We don't need any more of those.
