Its 80s nostalgia, just like all those TV shows and movies, for the cold war.

The only thing, as a westerner, that worries me about Russia is their oligarichal expansionism eventually leading to some major collision between them and NATO. I don't want another European war, let alone one that could quickly go nuclear
