Trump to Hold 'Listening Session' With Survivors of Florida School Shooting

This is a gigantic waste of time and everyone knows it, especially after tweets like this.

Trump is a fucking coward who cannot give a rat's ass about anyone but himself.

Paul Manafort is fucked. Either he gets 20 years or he flips on Trump.

in the future infantrymen will only have one piece of equipment that does everything

it will be a tactical shovel

tfw military radical centrism

He's a socdem and doesn't claim to be anything more. The Zapatistas aren't on board with him and he's not on board with them. That said, the Mexican elites and scared as fuck about him and I'd be shocked if they let him win; they made up criminal charges against him to oust him as a mayor ten years ago. He's the best candidate with a chance of winning and the masses are behind him, he'll win in a fair election, but there won't be a fair election and he'll fall victim to a coup if there is.

Do you think SuccDems will ever learn?

Read Lenin 2017.

For the sake of anti-corruption, and purging a bunch of gangs, you should hope that Lopez Obrador wins.

I know it does, I'm just wondering if they will turn on us again.

is he basically El Jezza?

Hard to say. But it would help Mexico a fuckton if he gets elected, because he's the best chance they have on cracking down on organized crime.

>Tfw the SAA and YP.G are going to evict the Turks together
Can the world filter be removed now?

It depends, I mean Socdem basically means fucking nothing anymore: blairites are called socdem but so is a marxist like McDonnell. I think you have to go by a case-by-case basis, so say Renzi is defo a traitor type but say Corbyn is not. Also people confuse an electoralist policy with social democracy.

So they're fucked then.

I don't think he's incapable of doing this, because really, the elites and organized crime are freaking over the results he's really in the lead at the moment. If there wasn't a threat to them, they wouldn't be screaming in fear

I hope he hired better security than Trotsky.

I'd rather Mexico supersede the US. Just as a fan of tragic irony.

I mean, the other options are probably shitty reactionaries and neolibs. And be realistic, currently the Zapatistas and the Mexican communists parties don't have a chance at winning. They probably will in like 10-20 years but not right now. Also the fact that succdmes still have support in latin america despite all the shitt Venezuela propaganda kinda makes you optimistic.

tho it wont happen again

You never know.

How did that end up? :^)

the US hegemony is fading. By the time Allende 2 Electric Boogaloo could happen, the burgers won't have enough power to intervine as effectively.

it shared the success cnt-fai and black army had.

I don't think the US could wage a second Cold War. Maybe attempt

What makes you say that? It was preparing to wage WW3.

The US hasn't waged a successful war in a very long time. I don't think we'll ever have another Pinochet. There's too much historical resistance to such an idea anywhere around Chile, let alone other parts of the world.

Everyone already knows what America did to their nations during the Cold War. I doubt they'll forget it.

Nah lad.

Yes, Corbyn is the most appropiate analog I can think of. Complete with conservatives screaming "Free education was a mistake, they are marxists indoctrination centers" and "If you choose him we'll have to eat dead rats from the garbage dump like in Venezuela!!!!"

t. Mexican

I mean, Capitalism isn't looking too good right now, I doubt it's fragility will compare to the 20th century's, we're operating under different circumstances and conditions.

Capitalism is far more frail than people think, as we go on into the 21st century this will only become more apparent. Dominant powers will not have as much reach, not nearly as much as they once had in the 20th century.

Do you have idpol-high libs screeching tho?

Capitalist country disintegrating is not an argument against capitalism to capitalists.

When capitalism seems to be on the edge of death that's when it can function most ruthlessly and effectivley.
read zizek

I disagree. The only place we have seen this is in the 20th century. Though it may operate ruthlessly to cling on to power, history has also shown seemingly invincible powers fuck up extremely badly when everything is on the line.

It will be ruthless, but as effectively, I don't think it would, or will.

Btw these are all things I've heard from working class people in response to AMLO (Keep in mind I live in northern mexico which is the most protestant, americanized and classcucked region on the country):

I repeat, these aren't comments from poor people, they are usually first generation college students. So it's not certain he will win; His support is very localized in the southern rural states and the area around Mexico City.

What do you think of his lead? What has he promised in regards to America?

I mean that one is a logical reasoning tbh.

Yes. From the top of my head: Liberal students sucessfully shilling the 'x' pronoun (spanish is gendered, think Latinx instead of latino/a), suing a hugr snack company because the spanish word for black (as in the color) is racist, indigenous traditional law on rural areas, which includes slave owning and women trading, being passed in congress in place of common civil law on rural areas; And the most offensive of all: The trend of white kids (for american 56% standards anyway) dressing in traditional mexican garb and claiming that criollo politicians are to blame for everything im Mexico and that if we went back to "our" aztec roots everything would be better. I thought they were a meme but they are quite numerous, as I had the misfortune of meeting them in Mexico City.

Read between the lines. The US is going to openly fuck with the Mexican election and posit AMLO as a Russian stooge.

I can only give my perspective, but I've seen all the coverage on AMLO based on Mexico City, which misses a great deal of nuance. He has a lead and great support in the south for sure, but I don't think his victory is certain. We need to remember that in the past 2 elections, the northern states didn't vote for him.

I know for certain that people here will never vote for him, and this is because of AMLO's own proposals: He promised to get a tough stance with the US and to renegotiate NAFTA, which are nonstarters. People's jobs here depend on foreign factories and cross-border commerce, and anything that threatens that will be met with fierce resistance. Not to mention that people in the border states have a stronger cultural affinity with the US than the south. Visas are more readily available to those in border states, and the middle class is more likely to have visited Los Angeles or San Antonio than Mexico City, catholicism lost it's grip and a plurality are part of protestant sects, and people are much more atomized and centered around the nuclear family, rather than neighbore and distant relatives.

If AMLO wins, it will be because people i the south had a strong turnout, and it would be easy to find ways to dispute the election or reasons for a coup when 40% of the country hates him.

Have we reached peak idpol: where alt-right tradnats and liberals are actually indistinguishable?

Tbf if they try (and it is obvious enough) Mexico will tear itself apart anyways so eh.

I'm from Monterrey and rich people say the same shit here. "You're going to have to share your house with poor people" and "he's like Maduro and Chavez but worse".

holy shit. liberal rich kids in my city don't even believe they have much Mexican ancestry. Low key racism "I'm 25% German, 25% Lebanese, 25% Spaniard" when they're fucking brown. The 'x' shit is annoying as fuck, and the reaction to all the progressives is even worse. That said, burgiouse liberals have changed their perspectives massively in the last 8 years, from being very anti-lgbt to being mostly lgbt-friendly, so something is going right. There's also been more political involvement by young people, a trend that is also true in the US, but young people actually getting involved in politics and not just protesting.

L.A. County's homeless problem is worsening, more than previously thought

*aren't comments from rich people, I fucked up.

Economic development in the rural states could ease homelessness problems in major cities.

Of course, that's not going to happen with most of them under Republican control.

shameful display

They're just straight up drinking snake oil because it makes porkies their bonus pay at this point.

But the ruling PRI party, which polls show trailing Mr López Obrador, has nicknamed him “Andrés Manuelovich”, alluding to alleged closeness to Russia. The PRI also regularly accuses Mr López Obrador, some of whose views are seen by critics as being stuck in the 1970s, of wanting to turn Mexico into Venezuela.

Fucking kek. Ironically this will likely play into this hands if the Trump admin attacks AMLO.

Read the article not just the headline. Greenwald has been a longtime skeptic of the Russia scandal. He's using an ad absurdum argument to paint advocates of a Russian meddling plot as "reckless and cowardly."

Pic unrelated.

Okay turns out he is literally the Mexican Corbyn.

t. Financial Times. Are piracy, copyright infringement and counterfeiting good praxis?

Hearing about the homeless just depresses me. Poor people.

Trump must be a frequent guest on the chapo sub reddit.

I was laughing my ass off yesterday when they showed this on the news.
Like how the fuck do they know

AMLO is not a leftists, he couldn't even be described as a SocDem, the old man has been trying to become president for 18 years and he always ends up losing at the very end, Mexico will always be shit and it's firmly held by the Neoliberal US control.
Mexico is a lost cause.
Intersectionality and Feminism control almost all leftists groups ranging from ☭TANKIE☭ trannies, Homo Trotskyites and Anarcho fags everywhere.
Fuck, I wish I could leave Mexico and never look back.

Students are already saying they're going to boycott it, but I think that's a mistake.

Nothing will enrage the nation more than their first hand accounts of Trump's complete disinterest.

I don't know, the amount of "What Trump will do will surely upset the right" hasn't been very big. Or maybe it's just glacial?

These projects never work specialization in equipment exists for a reason

Nah they should buy the chinese copies of said soviet guns.

Post that in this thread.

Florida ninth-grader suspended after being raped by three boys in her school bathroom

Thank your for raising my blood pressure to unhealthy levels, user

Was that cat always there? Am I this fucking tired?

Not really. Corbyn (and Sanders and Melenchon) calls himself a socialist whether or not you believe he actually is doing anything more than social democracy. AMLO does not call himself a socialist and explicitly names FDR has his policies' main influence.

And, as said before, he is not on good terms with the Zapatistas.

They did - its the best way to transfer money from public to private pockets. Thats the only goal.

Latine makes far more sense than latinx. It can be spoken out loud, it has precedent in various dialects, and it's not ugly as fuck. "Latinx" is for keyboard warriors that have never spoken to another human being in real life, I swear.
