You have a button that will kill everyone who is worth a certain amount or more. You can choose that amount. What would you choose?

In the U.S. the average lifetime income is a million dollars. So someone who owns $100 million effectively owns 100 slaves. If someone who directly owns 100 slaves deserves to die, they do as well, the only difference is that capitalism abstracts slavery from individual ownership to collective ownership by the bourgeois class.

I'd probably choose something like $30 million at the cut-off, which would be 226,450 deaths worldwide. A small price to pay for de-lousing humanity of the worst parasites.

Does debt count as negative?

But how do you stop a new bourgeoisie from taking their place?

Why not just kill off all poor people? No class oppression can exist if there is no lower class.

Friendly reminder that the communist cause is not against people but the institution of capitalism. You would resolve exactly zero problems with this button of yours other than making your inner LARPer feel good for a while

It's not about how much money you make, it's how you make it, though I would argue no one gets to a billion dollars without exploiting other people, at least in America.

I have nothing against rich people if they cooperate willingly. Socialism is for everyone.

Yes, you get a free 1UP..

This.
Rich musicians are exploited by record companies. Middle class small business owners are much poorer yet still exploit their workers, and can sometimes be damn cruel.
Its not always about how much you make, but your relation to the MoP

-I'm not against slave owners, just against the institution of slavery.

-I'm not against fascists, just the institution of fascism.

How are these statements any different from yours? Fundamentally capitalism is designed to benefit one group of people, capitalists, at the expense of everyone else.

The mistake leftists like you make is not realizing that class war is real, and must be addressed as such.

Collective problem-solving must be suppressed by the bourgeois for them to maintain power. Power persists by remaining unquestioned, it is fundamentally a lie. Without a group of powerful people driving this our collective problem-solving would be free to build a communist society.

If they would cooperate willingly, they wouldn't be capitalists and rich in the first place.

0 dollars or more gets you executed

ONE

Id borrow about ten billion pounds.

Then I would set the limit at minus nine billion pounds so everyone dies but me.

MILLION

It would only kill men and women with college degrees

KANGS

anti-meritocracy + egalitarianism + democracy

If you were to only kill off the very top tier elite, nothing would fundamentally change because the middle-ranking elite would utilize the already existing system to take over the role of the previous top tier elite. The Jeff Bezos crony who was lucky enough to make only 29 million dollars a year would become the new CEO and try to keep things running back to the way they were as much as possible.

The cut-off point is zero dollars.

So what you're saying is that the threshold needs to be lower, or the button needs to be on rapid fire.

Also how would killing slave masters not help to end slavery? cc.com/video-clips/jktbrs/chappelle-s-show-the-time-haters---great-misses---uncensored

I'd immediately broadcast to the world that we WILL all learn to get along or the button gets pressed for 40 billion. Then 30 billion, and so on, and so on until people miraculously find that good bit of themselves. Or they don't and I set it to zero and off myself lmao.
If I only get one press than I'd rather be an evil guy who was too harsh than a guy who let it all slip. I'd set it at a million dollars.

Haha benis

Honestly if a large enough number of people (of any description) suddenly dropped dead, that would be enough of a disruption to crash capitalism. Also there are supposedly 2043 billionaires right now. I don't think anybody gets to a billion dollars without exploiting people. A billionaire dying is a big deal depending on their will and the politics of their estate. All of them dying at once would probably be enough of a disruption to seriously fuck up capitalism since there'd be a lot of confusion and a lot of fighting over their massive holdings. The stock market would go fucking nuts. And you'd immediately get doomsday cult people who believed that owning too much is sinful and who would do some drastic shit (probably to our advantage).

It's fun to think about hypothetical situations I guess. My answer is 1 billion dollars exactly.

100,000$ income per year and more, no exceptions. die scum.
