Keep it. It runs on webkit now anyway, which generally is fast too.

I clicked on it and then I pressed 'Install' and then a bar filled up and then nothing happened

try clicking the orb that is part of the taskbar, type "opera" and click on it to run it

Oh, also. You can hold down the ALT key, then right-click and hold right-click down somewhere within a window and then scale it by dragging your mouse around.
You can also move a window if you instead do the same thing with left-click
