It was really weird to watch it happen. What's weirder is that the "father of men's rights movement" was even a Marxist (a Kautskyist but still) in the early 20th century and the man mostly credited with kickstarting it in recent times was a left-lib feminist and despite that, getting the modern left to even stop and listen to a politicized male perspective seems to be just about impossible.
