I was basically a NEET for a few years before finding my current job. The time spent walking from business to business handing out resumes and filled in applications was absolutely useless because I was unemployed while looking for work and that looks really bad to them. The only reason I have a job right now is because I somehow made a social connection, and to be honest I fail to see how that's a whole lot different than a sort of nepotism.

Many NEETs, even the ones with physical/mental illnesses and disabilities are perfectly capable and willing to do good work but can't get hired because they're seen as a sort of liability. Most I'd say are willing to do part time work at the very least.

I think you're fundamentally thinking of this stuff ass-backwards. The idea is more like, your dad works with a bunch of people on a farm. That farm has a really nice tractor, which he uses sometimes. When he dies the tractor stays on the farm. His co-workers keep using it. If you want to work on the farm, you can probably go use it too. No one needs to "take" the tractor anywhere, because where it is right now is good.

Last question before I go actually do something productive with my day: Who decides who gets to work on a better farms that have higher salaries?
Seems if you did it via meritocracy then you would have this class of people who get paid exponentially more due to the fact they are both better skilled and also have better equipment.

But what if I want the tractor for my own personal farm? What if I made that tractor and grew all the food on that farm myself. Would I then have to share it?
If I built a mansion for my child would I not be allowed to give it to my child? Would it become the mansion everybody gets to sleep in?
What happens if someone breaks the tractor. What happens if I don't want that one dumb faggot who broke 10 tractors already operating the tractor I spend years building myself?

In capitalism yeah, you want to maximize how much money you personally make, so that you can use your wealth for whatever you want, because it's portable. In a communal society you're producing goods for your community. There isn't a stratification or a mechanism for hoarding wealth. How about you operate from the opposite premise: that the people who create a communist society won't be awful morons. It makes way more sense for 20 people to work on a farm than a single person, in terms of maximizing output.
