Manifesto had been published in 1848, Kapital's first edition was in 1867. Marx had read and learned a ton in the time between. Your switcharoo doesn't work, because actually a lot of what is said in Kapital is on an abstract level, and not tied down to specific time to the extent the Manifesto is.

I think you're being a bit too harsh on the ol' Manifesto. Sure it has some obscure references, but a lot of sections are truly gems. Plenty of insightful critiques and descriptions of capitalism that are perhaps even more relevant today than they were in 1848.

There is a difference between "carrying" a debate and actually arguing in good faith. Muke had a better debate experience, he knew the buzzwords, that's something nobody denies. The reason people are pissed at him is because he started shitting at other tendencies and that he claims to be some sort of leading voice of the internet left.
