No. Religion cannot and will not exist post-capital, at least not institutionally (as it first did and does). Islam or Christianity or Judaism, there is no exception, even as a tool (it is ruling ideology). If we can speak of religion post-capital it will be reduced to a mere communal and freely associable thing, as it quite ironically was first described and propagandized as being in religious literature (when in reality religion always took the form of institution first and foremost). Religion functions on the motor of capital accumulation and is thus like any other type of firm, as weak as it already may be today (at least in its traditional form, because religion will forever exist for the precarious in a class society as panacea, even if it needs to adapt itself to modernity).

Religion makes people stupid and is against materialism. Sure some religions can have an emphasis on sharing and community but people's interpretations of that can change unpredictably, because it is based on metaphysical spooks and not reality.

Religion grows obsolete and will be abolished eventually, most people aren't believers, they just go through the motions of muh traditions. We should aid people trying to move towards communism while freeing them from their spooks.
