In the spirit of July 4th

Would some of the founding fathers of the United States support libertarian socialism or some other leftist and/or leftish movements if they were around today? What do you base it on?

Hamilton wanted to bring the Industrial Revolution to America, and the rest of them mostly believed in property owning agriculture so probably not

Revolutionaries? Quite possibly. These syphilitic prostitute fucking shit heads waxing philosophic who owned slaves? I really doubt it

Benjamin franklin didnt like all the german immigrants that were coming and thought they were niggers

#StopAngloGenocide

what

Old timey racism is basically
THE ANGLO RACE IS SUPERIOR TO ALL, EVEN OTHER WHITE PEOPLE ARE NIGGERS HAHAHAHAHAHAAH

The Eternal Anglo strikes again!

FUCKING GERMANS ARE THE FOOT SOLDIERS OF CULTURAL MARXISM.

Don't believe me? Check this out.

Karl Marx, BORN IN GERMANY
Friedrich Engles, GERMAN FIRST NAME
George Hegel, BORN IN GERMANY, GERMAN LAST NAME.
Rosa Luxemburg, GERMAN
Vlad Lenin, EDUCATED IN GERMANY

SOCIALISM IS A TEUTONIC ISLAMIC PLOT TO SUBVERT OUR INDIVIDUALIST ANGLO GENETICS WITH ORDNUNG AND RESPECT FOR SOCIETY. KEEP THIS IN MIND NEXT TIME YOU SEE ONE OF THOSE SAUSAGE STUFFED PIG FUCKERS PRETENDING THEY ARE WHITE.

That hamilton play is really funny when you realizes it a bunch of gay black guys prancing around like the slave owners that built this country for the enjoyment of liberal bourgeois.

Its such a disgusting product of the obama era.

The "more minority/women CEOs/leaders/etc" meme is still going on strong though.

I was thinking about this, and maybe Jeffersonian Republicanism could be construed as a kind of agrarian socialist movement, if it took into account the development of capitalism and more decentralized forms of governance.

But then again the USA was founded on so much hypocrisy what with the massive focus on defending private property and slavery so I dunno

humanity was a mistake

No. They were literal slave owners.

The best way to find out is to read their works and inspirations, and Common Sense (One of the most vital influencers) pretty much indicates that they opposed and despised the monarchies of Europe and followed, in fashion, to form a Republic like Isreal used to have, like Greece used to have, and like Rome used to have.

So, to answer your question, no, they would not have approved of the Leftist politics running around today. They despised the government in all manner, but saw that some form of order was required for society to flourish, so they created a system that didn't allow for the government to have more power than was absolutely needed. Communism and Socialism are the opposite of this because both really completely on the government to provide for the people which has been proven to collapse in on itself. The only form of Socialism that has worked was under the Hitler, but, even then, Germany still relied upon the individual businesses working within the country. So, no matter how you spin it, relying upon the government doesn't work, and the founding fathers realized this.

Also, you have to realize the fact that nothing has changed in the thousands of years that the world has existed. People and societies always act and function in the same manner, just with a different coat of paint. So, to suggest that the logic and opinions from a paper 240 years ago differ at all from the logic and opinions of today requires you to be extremely short sighted.

Also, I might add the fact that even the least religious of the founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, insisted that Congress begin every morning that a set amount of time is set aside just for prayer, so religion is also a vital part to a countries stability as well.

post disregarded

Do you know what socialism and communism even are?

Two political ideologies that have resulted in countries killing millions of their own people, destruction of historical…

…and cultural ideals and censorship of anything that is considered "Wrong think"…

…and have been able to produce nothing so they rely on whatever it is that more successful countries are able to produce.

It was sparrows. Did a Chinese grill turn you down user? It's okay, there are plenty more fish in the sea.

...

Vast majority of them would be terrified at how far "left" the country has drifted so no. They were literally a bunch of non-aristocratic rich guys who didn't want to pay taxes or their debts to the crown which had spent millions fighting wars on their behalf. The only good figure in the America revolution was Thomas Paine and he wasn't a founder.

???

You do realize every single person who participated in the war was completely bankrupt after it, not to mention that they owed a large debt to France and whoever else helped, and that they still hadn't paid any of the soldiers for their service in the war in months.

...

Thomas Jefferson was an AnPrim.

You do realize that most of the war was over property rights to agricultural plantations and being in charge of their own industry right.

They could wax philosophic whatever they're syphilitic brains (or autistic if you're counting Benjamin Franklin [Franklin was autistic and syphilitic] and Jefferson) could think of to justify it.

Justifying a bunch of bullshit to hundreds of people to die for an investment has been the American way since day 1. Of course it bankrupt them that made them even more dangerous.

No time for an entire fucking ethnic group you gave small pox too, make them fight your wars, or let another colonial power have them fight against you when they get sick of your shit.

The best thing that ever happened to Early America wasn't the British losing, it was the Great White House Bonfire Cookout of 1814

No good cookout has been equal since, Bacon for one Bacon for all

Why because he was literally autistic?

Did you know that Ben Franklin was a trap who pretended to be a woman in private letter correspondence when he was younger to, I forgot I think it was someone random. No bullshit look it up. America was helped found by they very people who worship him like a God despise. I find this really ironic.

Read a fucking book, nigger.

Well no shit, I never knew that

wtf

Thomas Paine was probably the closest thing to a proto-socialist. He was very much a radical even for his day, and ended up getting basically laughed out of America, went to agitate in France, got elected to the Convention, got arrested, and ultimately ended up back in America where he died poor. His pamphlet Agrarian Justice is worth a read.

Stop being so butthurt that people 200 years ago weren't radical enough for you. The Founding Fathers weren't just mega-porkies butthurt about the British, and the Revolution wasn't just about muh taxes. You're disregarding a very important event resulting from Enlightenment thinking.
