Why do you hate capitalism?

Why do you hate capitalism?

because i'm a cry baby and not smart enough to be a bourgeoisie so i just want to undo bourgeois achievements

I don't.

I love capitalism. Unfortunately, it only works on paper.

I hate capitalism because I can't succeed. You might say I'm lazy but actually I'm white so the reason why I'm failing is because of Jews.

I want my infant cousin to have breathable air, and Porky wants none of that, which is why I want Porky to get the bullet. There's other reasons too, but this is one of the top ones.

It's an unstable system based on parasitic class relations.

Its not that I hate it. I just think its an unstable and destructive way of organising production that and we can do better.

I dont hate it, I just think a better future is possible and needed.

I woudln't even have developed my distaste for capitalism and other forms of monetarism if it wasn't for my ongoing days jumping from shitty job to despair-filled unemployment period to shitty job again being trampled (ie sometimes not even payed at all) by people who don't have an ounce of respect for the trade I've learned, the labor I'm providing or any of my coworkers' well being and to claim who know how to make something function better but only say so to justify their greed for a higher profit. Just to be able to finance my education and find my path in life. It's humilliating and dehumanizing. That, and the fact that I comparatibly have it well compared to how the people of other countries are enslaved in factories resembling farms or having wars started just cause of pure, unadulterated greed.

tldr I think I hate greed and quasi-gamblers and lawyers leading my society much more than capitalism itself, which I think inevitably snowballs into those things.

Because I hate parasitism.

pick one

It's not cool that people with more money than me exist and that they use it to spend on cars worth more than most houses. Everybody who drives a car worth more than 20k should be killed.

I'd be better off under socialism.

Because I fucking hate working so goddamn much and estrogen pills are getting really expensive.

I hate capitalism because I've seen the shit It does to people first hand, when I was a child, and like a child who walks through a slaughterhouse he comes out, he comes out vegan

Greed, inequality, suffering, starvation, imperialism, (economic) slavery, and dehumanization of the general populace are but a few that come to mind.

This but unironically. Motherfucker's buying a yatch and coming to work four hours later than me while he won't even buy a new pan for the kitchen I work at or hire non-migrant help, and then has the gall to blame me for the bad reviews and the unsatisfied customers. I wouldn't have a problem with his yacht if it wasn't for the fact that he acts as if he farted it out of his pansy ass and not off undervaluing my labour. I know he has money for a new pan and for hiring a waiter or two, and I bet there'd enough left for a yacht, but he'd rather have a bigger yacht. I know that money's there because me and my coworkers are the ones who earned it while he was dawdling in his bed. Fuck corporate salaries.

I'm tsundere for it's gains and style.

Because capitalism has filled my head with thoughts that aren't mine and through its sheer omnipresence continues to drill things into my brain that I never wanted and didn't ask for and serve only to make someone money.

Capitalism didn't make you wank to traps fam.

Powerful first image.

You're right. Bridget isn't capitalism. But there are jingles and advertising and all sorts of other detritus that I can't forget and wake up in the middle of the night repeating over and over in my head.

I get you fam, I just wanted to make a bad joke.

They destroy the people's life if it isn't controlled.

Because even though it affords me a comfortable lifestyle and I live much better than a 1% court aristocrat of just a few centuries ago, it still just REALLY pisses me off that there are people who have it a little better than me. I want to destroy them and see them suffer. I want to bring them down into misery and pain. Yes, I'm that petty and that's why I am a leftist. No one should have it better than me.

It's effects upon the environment are rather awful

I fucked up my flag and ruined my troll.

Technically yes.

Isn't that the same with Communism and Socialism? (sorry, I'm new here)

The Soviet Union experienced year over year economic growth up until its dissolution in 1991.

Even Laos has had 7% year over year GDP growth.

Not every socialist/"socialist" country is a superhuman success story but looking at what they accomplished and under what circumstances it becomes very clear that lasseiz faire capitalism isn't the golden boy it's portrayed as.

because it jeopardizes my life and well being

Can't do anything right.

advertising, consumerism and cultural homogenization
the fact it makes it the "best option" to let perfectly good factories in developed nations go unused because you can get away with more in less developed nations
intellectual property slowing the pace of growth of human knowledge
the fact that the most rewarded people are bankers, property owners, and stock brokers who contribute nothing to society as opposed to parents, farmers, laborers, engineers, teachers, doctors and scientists

why do people portray capitalism as this beautiful voluntary system?

I think people should own the things they make.

ideology is a mind trick to avoid confronting harsh truths

I find Capitalism to be inefficient but I don't hate it.

One such inefficiency promoted by Capitalism is planned-obsolescence. It is the result of a profit-driven economic system wherein the button line is to screw the consumers.

I hate capitalism for making this fight happen. McGregor should be in the ufc defending his title against Ferguson or khabib

Memeweather is a "defensive technician" and a boxer and it upsets me he doesn't even pretend to box for the love of the fight

Doctors do very well. Socialism probably won't make them much better off. They're the exception, though.

Ancaps cherry pick what capitalism is and then claim you are strawmanning them if you don't accept their narrow cherry picked world view. The whole "voluntary" thing puts a person in a position where they can never be proven wrong because it denies all negatives to be strawman. This fuels capitalism to be the perfect system in these people's eyes, and also fuels their egos.

It sees all negative criticism to be strawman*

People keep buying expensive and unserviceable stuff like apple because they're stupid. Blame stupidity, not capitalism.

They live in a society where planned obsolescence and commodity fetishism rule. Capitalism really is to blame.

Companies have no incentive not to make shit like that.

Desperation plays a big role in keeping capitalism strong. The more desperate the people, the more they are willing to take greater costs. If a people is hungry and poor, they will take a job with very low wages and poor working conditions because it is better than nothing. People in the first world buy stupid shit because advertising creates desperation as well in order to inflate price. Many ancaps (not saying you are one) claim that the employer has to pay the workers well in order to profit, but this misses the fact that the target customers a sweatshop owners is going for are first world nations. Their main target is not local, and thus has no incentive to pay the workers well. In fact, there is a lot of incentive to keep the local area impoverished and desperate. Capitalism inherently cannot lift people out of poverty because of this.

FTFY. Capitalism allows for some class mobility. The issue is that the internal contradictions slowly erode it.

Thanks.

Because of lack of control over my life. I always had fetishes and childhood fantasies of dominance over my peers in various forms due to feeling like real life has me blowing around like a leaf in wind. I want security, I want control over my life, I want justice for people like me who so many have been victim to the whims of the market. I want no limits over myself or humanity and that is why I fucking
hate
capitalism.

Because it's outlived its usefulness.

"Class mobility" is not a good thing, because it can only exist in class society. Allowing some slaves to become masters and vice versa does not mean that you aren't living in slavery anymore.
