According to people I'm decently good looking. However the amount of social rejection I've gotten from women has been insane. I don't blame it on class, or money or anything (though it plays a part) I blame it on the expectations brought about through Capitalist media.

Women are told to go get prince charming (Say someone who looks like Channing Tatum or Ryan Gosling for example.) Someone fit, good looking with money. Someone who has some bizarre mind reading power and will always know just what to say and or do to fulfill whatever emotional need they have at the moment and who will support them through anything (Even if that thing is a self destructive or otherwise unwise behavior)

Men are told to go get some smoking hot 10/10 supermodel (Pam Anderson or Megan Fox as an example here) Who will make her life revolve around their whims, always be available for sex, never interrupt whatever shenanigans the male is up to and never feel lonely when she's snubbed for friends, personal projects, etc.

Normal human beings on both sides of the gender divide cannot hold up to the insane expectations of the media fantasy capitalists have imposed through movies, music and television. I would say that it's CLEARLY impossible to do so and in fact detrimental to one's mental health to try. An average looking girl won't meet the standards for an average looking guy and vice versa because the average looking person can't compare to the media fantasy and the average thinking person could never hope to act like said fantasy either.

The issue isn't that Women naturally gravitate towards "Chad" is that women are taught from a young age that "Chad" is the only acceptable option for them and that settling for less is a sign of failure, Men are taught a similar spiel about women, that settling for anything less than "Smoking Hot" is failing. My take on the no gf thing is that there really is a shortage of eligible women due to capitalism. Many women are over weight because junk food which has the highest profit margins are constantly pushed on them. Along with that the hollowing out of the middle class has left many of them vulnerable to sexual assault which many suffer and it winds up manifesting as a variety of mental illnesses.

I saw one study that very very strongly linked sexual assault with obesity. Many of the scientists felt that a contributing factor to the obesity epidemic may actually be rising levels of molestation and sexual assault.

More and more men cannot make the kind of money that would give a young woman the lifestyle that her boomer parents made her accustomed to.
