Uncle Toms thread

Is this example of Uncle Tom?

Woah, that's a big fedora.

No that is not an uncle Tom. Just another typical butthurt American black guy who thinks his people should have a monopoly over the world slave. An uncle Tom would be a black guy saying black prison slaves deserve it.

Btw if you use the term uncle Tom for a black guy arguing contrary to his racial interests remember to call white people who argue against their racial interests cucks.

He is kind of implying that they deserve it.

No he isn't, what's wrong with you?

Opinion discarded!

Uncle Toms aren't arguing against their "racial" interests but against their social, political and economical interests.

He is right though, too many white Berniebros comparing this to slavery which is stupid.

Yes. God bless the USA my fellow leftards!

For you

fuck off

>Hahahaha, did you just say that a thing is similar to another thing in a certain way? Checkmate, you filthy brocialists!

bullshit, pic related is what passes for an uncle Tom in American pop culture. A rich black lawyer with a white wife and bourgeois values.
It is fundamentally grounded in race.

It is slavery.

To people upset about prison slavery: How do you feel about gulags?

no one serious about socialism unironically want gulags.

They're okay, but I think we really ought to bring back the chopping block. The old ways were best.

Where did this meme come from?

I used to think this way, but Holla Forums convinced me of the revolutionary necessity of gulags.

something something eternal anglo

Don't worry. The right is convinced that work is an intrinsically moral, virtuous and self affirming act, so they should be thrilled to go into gulag.

american centric education

You haven't spent much time actually trying to argue for socialism have you

A prison for people actively working to undermine people's revolution is entirely different than a for-profit prison that functions entirely on the backs of people purposefully marginalized and exploited by the system

Would you be okay with prison labor if it wasn't for profit?

This is whataboutism and should be ignored

If it was just another punishment instead of a method of extracting surplus value then there's literally nothing wrong with it.

Entirely different contexts isn't "whataboutism" you drooling fuckholster.

This.
Anti-black conservatives = UNCLE TOMS
Anti-white leftists = CUCKOLDS

...

no it isn't you shithead, they're both prisons, they operate the same way substantially.

It's a shame they didn't catch on, running one would be my dream career.

Yet another example of pure ideology.

"Slave is my herritage and no logner means forced labor and so on. How dare you use the word I built my whole identity around in order characterize what it actually means!"

he's conflating whites with jews

this fucker

It is in response to Hillary Clinton talking about her using black prison slave labor while she was in Arkansas. She talks about it in the book "It Takes a Village". Talking about how she enforced rules and if one rule was broken the prisoner would be sent back. She then talks about race science in pic related.

I can't imagine what it's like being so fucking wrong.

Are you dissing Clarke, or do you respect him and are dissing on the OP twitter?

Literally one of the biggest liberal shills on twitter

Do Uncle Toms and their female counter parts get the bullet too?

Wasn't the entire point of DuBois' character to contrast him with the "ghetto" main cast? I vaugely remember a courtroom episode that examined and criticized the notion that black people need to conform to "black" culture.

>alluding to an argument that might exist, somewhere, if only he could actually make it

Slaves were just the losers in African tribal wars.

On the west coast, before the Atlantic slave trade the losers in battle got eaten by rival tribes.
Instead they sold them to the Americans.

...

Good point.

Also isnt it a little bit racist for a forum of 100% white men to be talking about Uncle Toms?

nice flag dipshit, read the FAQ

Leftypol is whiter than pol but blacker than reddit.
For 100% white male feminist BLM supporters, go to reddit.

Calling people Uncle Tom is extremely idpol. It basically assumes that your political affliction must only be based in your race/sex/sexuality interests, and that you cannot act politically in your class interest. It also denies agency of the targeted minorities, assuming that they really can't or shouldn't form political views that differ from the rest of their group. It's the other side of the same coin that calls white men "cucks" for not voting for white nationalists.

Some where prisoners of war. Here's a revolutionary thought though: Maybe slavery is bad regardless if the slaves are Irish, black, prisoners of war, debt slaves or just straight up kidnapped?

Yeah I cant disagree with that.

My point was quite different. Tribal warfare will happen in Africa whether there are slave traders buying up the losers or not.

When my Father visited Africa about 40 years ago he visited a tribe who lived on top of a steep coastal cliff. They were very excited to show him the bloodstained cliff where they threw people from rival tribes they caught in battle.
The chief said generations ago they used to throw their enemies off the cliff. They stopped the practice because slavers would buy them. But now nobody comes to buy the prisoners (because slavery had been abolished) so they get to throw people off the cliff again.

it's a long standing tradition that keeps down costs ;)
