‘Black Hole' created by world's strongest x-ray laser

If you shine the world’s strongest X-ray laser at a small molecule, it will quickly destroy it. However, in the act of destruction, something fascinating happens: The radiation creates a runaway process where electrons are stripped away from neighboring atoms, in a bizarre phenomenon akin to a black hole, which scientists haven’t seen before.

Leaving the Paris Agreement Won’t Doom the Planet

Trump reportedly is on the brink of withdrawing from the deal, prompting widespread hysteria. But it's not the most damaging thing he can do to Obama's climate legacy.

Are the USA and Australia the two most ignorant countries in the 1st world?

Being American is suffering.

It is

So is there anything more specific known?

We won't do shit though. Same as the majority of countries in that agreement.
But it's useful to be in the same framework as your main gas buyers. Especially when demand in Europe should increase dramatically over the next years.

Conservatives are deranged.

...

Finally.

America seems to be going out of it's way to antagonize or engage in further conflict with:
With this be the Axis of WW3? Will Trump be the last President of the glorious USA?

The "black hole" headline is retarded, they didn't make one.
They blasted a lot of electrons off a part of a molecule, which then sucked up a lot of electrons from another part of the molecule.
It has literally nothing to do with a black hole, other than that they both suck up electrons well.

The fireball headline is also not that interesting, unless you download a lot of dangerous programs online. It's just your average adware.
Then they say that it has anti-virus-evading techniques.
But then they say you can remove it the same way you remove any other installed software.
It's like any other adware, the only difference is its size.

People did not believe so at first?

America will be the Axis of WW3.

this made me realize our best relations as of recently are with Saudi Arabia and Israel.

not really
They are in accord 90% of the time.
The other 10% involves Kurds.

Funny how God will take care of the things Republicans don't want to do, but it's up to them to deal with sexual deviancy and science refuting creation myths and shit.

It sells better.

what
Who ever believed this? The kind of temperature you'd need to kill bacteria would destroy your fucking hands. The whole point of washing hands is to mechanically remove dirt and grime by washing it away with water, soap helping to remove oily (non-polar) residue that water alone doesn't get. Shit, warm or hot water will cause your pores to relax and open, but that's about it. Doesn't amount to anything when washing your hands but it will help you clean your face by preventing pimples.

I'd expect to see this shit on some regular news site, not on my leftypol!
Bad newsanon!

Please let this be the timeline where WW3 happense because the rest of the world won't put up with the USA not getting on board with ameliorating climate change. Please, rest of the world, conquer us and divide us up so the fuckhuge corporations don't have the US as a haven anymore.

No. Student debt is a class test. Do you have the resources to pay for the college needed to get a job? Yes? Congrats, welcome to the club. You don't? Oh, too bad. You get to have that job (mayyyybe) but you also have to pay off this debt so you don't get to enjoy the pay. Thank you proles for doing this high-skill job for less pay.

American college is a scam anyway. Most people aren't getting any profession at all, because they study feminism, colonialism, liberal arts or such bullshit.
Go fuck yourself, edgy cunt.

Can I make this man an admiral?

Someone please slap some sense into this man

Your post seems to be somewhat reductive.

I like how we trash them in one thread then use them as a source a dozen times in another

I fucking hope so. It would be nice to still have an Earth even if the revolution doesn't happen in my lifetime.

Reminder that there is a movement trying to set "autist" as an identity instead of a condition, and as such, we shouldn't be looking for so-called cures.

I don't know why people would trash them much more than your average major media outlet. They cover a lot of domestic American news that gets ignored. Maybe I'm just used to filtering biased reporting from growing up with Fox News on 24/7 at my parents house.

...

Oh, that settles it then.

THE DIALECTIC IN MOTION

1. Climate change isn't real → we shouldn't care about it
2. Climate change is real but it's not man-made → we can't do anything about it
3. Climate change is man-made but God will take care of it → we shouldn't care about it because we can't go against God's will
