So it looks like Holla Forums may be about expose BAMN and related orgs and their reach into local Berkeley political scene. Been tracking their threads here, as well as posts on 4chan.
Maybe it won't amount to anything, as Holla Forums is mostly hot air, but people inside the Berkeley PD have had enough, and you can bet the feds are watching as well, and are trying to build a case against the Mayor–this stuff from Holla Forums might tip the scales.
To be honest, I think it serves them right. Something always bothered me about the higher ups in their network. They're out of touch with the times, they still think it's the 70s with the Weathermen, and are trying one last time to relive their failed fantasy of violent revolution through exploitation of modern day identity politics, and often through impressionable younger people they entice into their fold. They've pushed too hard, too fast.
They should have stepped aside and let the younger generation take charge. But they're too set on wanting power.
I fear they might make the same mistake they did in the 70s, and the most radical of them will go "Underground" in the months ahead or perhaps next year depending on how things unfold, meaning they're about to embrace further acts of violence and on a larger scale. This will only serve to tarnish the image of Leftist politics even further.
