It's pretty easy to get normies pissed off about capitalism, especially with shit like that happening every day in the US.
The trouble is getting them organized, educated, and willing to accept more radical solutions than the same old compromise social democracy.
I've been working for months to get socialists to show up to Dems meetings, and to radicalize Dems if possible.
If it's optimism, it's because it looks like my efforts are paying off.

It's not as stupid as it sounds. How else would you offer an alternative when everything is already in place and offered by the status quo you're seeking to remove?
