Forgot my flag.

And nothing of value was lost.

>>>Holla Forums

clearly syndicates are what caused anime to become shit by asking for more money. it's all the workers' fault!

ah yes the good old "if porky gets more money it means more money for the workers too"

forgot pic

I know you're joking but it's insane how there's people who actually believe 'greedy workers are demanding too much from the innovative job creators'

...

God why did /a/ have to become so shit.

And nobody is surprised.

Not all of them.

I know.

...

It's true tho.
The man worked pretty hard now his troubles are over. Try not to be too jealous :^)

Surely the problem is with Japanese culture and not with capitalism!
Yes, I already saw people saying this on Twitter.

Imkampfy.
Go away.

this is in poor taste

...

If you're going to words like sociopath please find out what they mean beforehand, thank you.

I mean I feel bad he died but…

You know why: /pol

:(

nice emoticon fagkaiser

:^)

How heartless

That's just horrifying. Makes you understand why Kubo dropped out when he felt his health wasn't keeping up.

It's hard for them to care when they most probably leech off their parents.

what is this

work fetishism is a mental disorder

Not a tru/jp/sy if he uses shit like the caret emote.

These NEET memes always make me happy

so·ci·o·path /ˈsōsēōˌpaTH/ (noun)
a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

Anzu a cute.

Sadly taking a break or vacations is badly seen in Japan.

Fuck, forgot to take my satirical flag.

...

nice touch.
probably not intentional, but nice nonetheless.

rude

who /jp/ here?

Used to browse /jp/, but was always more of an /a/non. Guess that makes me a filthy crossboard poster.

I don't willingly associate myself with the Jay anymore after what happened in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

I feel shame and pain when browsing boards other than /jp/, they're all too alien and normal. At least there's some non-shit discussion here once in a while.

You say that like /jp/ hasn't been filled with template threads, roleplaying, greentexting, surprise boxes and memes for quite a while.

what about spinoffs?
I only use nenpo nowadays, did the others go the way of 4/jp/?

Good thing I haven't been on 4/jp/ for a while, before I left for those 3-people strong spinoffs I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown due to all that widespread retardation

Moefags literally need to be shot

what a lazy bum

this is why anime needs to be banned tbh

twitter.com/WesleyAHart/status/851848870132932608

Huge retard from Twitter thinks artists who die of overwork do it out of "pure love for art" and not because the industry demands them to work themselves to death or else they'll starve and be shamed by their peers.

It's both. You have to love art to put up with that shit long enough to work yourself to death, instead of quitting and trying for something easier. (And conditions for animators are bad even by Japan's standards.)

And it's sad that capitalism means this love is expressed by working one's self to death. You can appreciate what someone accomplishes while still wanting the industry to be structured in a way where a career in it will generally lead to a long and happy life.

I don't go on 4/jp/ anymore as it is horrible, but I do visit the spinoffs from time to time.

I disagree, this doesn't only happen to artistic people in Japan. It happens to all salarymen regardless of their job, which is pretty amazing in a bad way.

You're kinda thinking like the idiot in that tweet. It's in their culture and things like quitting or even getting a vacation is badly seen over there, so it's not a matter of "just quit if it gets bad", otherwise you wouldn't get so many cases of death by overwork in Japan.

I hate this romantization of artists, makes people focus on the wrong things like always.

Sitting at a computer shitposting isn't what psychologists consider extreme antisocial behaviour.

i've never known an artist that loves being told what to do/make
these people work to make money and they end up dying because the "work culture" in japan is even more fucked up than the rest of the world

Wowzers!!!

They've spent their whole lives learning to draw thinking about their dream, then years in technical school or university only to learn that the work is shit after they enter the industry in their 20s. They don't have any other skill, what can they do? Drawing surely is more fun than working at McDonalds at least, which is why many don't quit. Others may be content with it, but they do realize the work is shit and they complain about in the Janica reports.

But a lot do quit, but they do when they're in the lowest ranks so we never learn about them.

twitter.com/yaginuma_san/status/830080884610998272

Kazuyoshi Yaginuma is saying people who want to do what they want and enjoy what they do should stay in the indie scene and that working on new things or only on things you like is only a muh privilege of those at the very top. (Took this translation from some Twitter user.)

Fuck, this shit makes me angry, work ethic is the biggest cuck scam that was ever invented and people fucking die for shit like this.

NICE ONE BOSS!

All the hard work and dediation and all you get are rather mean comments or apathy aka a typical /a/ response.
And they wonder why anime goes down the toilet? There is obviously disdain between the creators and the fans. Creators are just interested in making money at the cost of quality.
Although /a/ watches it anyway, so anime will be forever garbage.

comments section is blaming this on people who pirate anime. is this an american cultural thing? i doubt you would see such a debate on a spanish-speaking anime news website

Incredible that people think their bosses getting more money means they'll either get paid more or work less.
They don't even realize how much technology has advanced yet we keep working almost as much as some decades ago.

eh…

Nobody cares about whatever the person was working on, it's the fact someone died due to overwork (again), dummy.

You're taking chinese cartoon imageboards too seriously.

Those comments would exist, but 99% of the replies to them would be from people telling them off.

work ethic is good by itself, its not necessarily classcuckoldry.
this is a man who was cucked to death.

Hopefully they'll stop making Naruto

user…

If life gives you lemons..

Americans are the most copyright-cucked people on earth.
If they simply stopped spending their money on number strings and started buying fancy trinkets instead the world recession would be over.

You're probably basing this on hard numbers but I swear Japanese are the most adverse to pirating things in the whole fucking world. They even actively report other sites/people for pirating.

...

...

t. tankie consumerist bot shilling for keynesian pseudo-science

If you just take out the pro-capitalist rhetoric you get muke

Japs pirate a lot, more than half of the nyaa.se traffic comes from Japan and it's the 34rd most visited site in Japan. The difference is that they don't talk about it because they literally could be put in jail. Copyright laws in Japan are strict and Japanese being the rulecucks they are they rat each other.

tearful pig.jpg

my gott
what a bunch of cucks

/a/ gets it.

He was no value and so his death is meaningless. Why be sorry over some dead gook.

I removed "I love my boss" for you, now this is applicable to socialism as well.

Also your shitty formatting made your joke fall flat.

...

Ancraps in a nutshell
Please tell me more about your lovely political philosophy

the only joke here is your post

Better for the people of no value to die, than to give them busy work.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

you have to go back

you too

hi ancap.

wow you are new. go highlight his post and click his post number.

I found a total one post which vaguely counts as virtue signaling.

Are you revering to the people shitting on naruto or the ones forcing oldfaggotry?

Pretending to care about some dead jap doesn't serve any purpose than to signal that you are virtuous.

Neither? Are you retarded?
Oh, right.

I'm obviously talking about how they just don't care some guy died for working too much and think the solution is shoving more money into the industry. It's right there in my fucking post.

Man, it's almost like people ITT are talking about how fucked up this system and Japanese culture is and not about the animator himself or whatever shitty anime he worked on.

not sure what thread you're in, but there was a whole lot of reddit tier "wow these people are fucking psychopaths and don't virtue signal as much as me about some dead nobody"

You mean a single post. Yeah, you're retarded.

Hilarious from the tumblrina still using shit like "virtue signaling".

How about you provide me some examples?
The post I linked was the only one which resembled that.

literally every response to:

there's only one post like that and the guy who made it is right above your post explaining he wasnt talking about the person but the underlying problem hahahah

ah nevermind youre just trying to be edgy

All I see are posts talking about the edginess or the industry or capitalism. You're definitely retarded.

denial aint just a river in egypt

Damn, really made me think.

...

It's fucking crazy that people would talk about the system on Holla Forums.
Also nice reddit-tier terms.

who invited the liberals

love it

You have to go back.

Ethnic nationalism is one hell of a drug. Thankfully neoliberal reforms are apparently eliminating it, which is a good thing.

so easy

if you hate someone you can get them sent to jail for it likely

Every fucking time

1) denouncing lifestylism and neolib conceptions of econ

2) imageboard meta by an user who doesn't like Holla Forums-tier edglords shitting up a hobby board.

3) Part virtue signaling part banter ( the one I'd already linked)

3) sounds like an ironic post, could be your third virtue signaling post.

4) 4th virtue signaling post? could also just be someone annoyed by Holla Forums-tier attitude on /a/

I'll be generous with you

5) I wouldn't call it virtue signaling unless you stretch the definition a bit, he's not directing any attention to himself and is just describing real world phenomena, although they relate to feelings.

6) = 1)

7) wdhbt

like pottery.

Was there ever a sequel to that Mega Milk doujin? I know the ending hints at it.

Well that's true, it hasn't.

It's got a whole new bunch of problems, but people complaining about 2012 /jp/ in 2017 just show they haven't been there since 2012.

You dislike 2012 /jp/, so you left for spinoffs that preserve it. Okay.
