I'm a newfriend that mostly lurks (I left Holla Forums not long ago) and I like leftypol the way it is now (not too big but not too small), but I think it should have more threads about theory. I feel like I'm learning a lot here but I could learn a lot more.

In the UK for example, there's Wings Over Scotland. (It's called something slightly different to Alternate-Media iirc, but that's what it is.) which is a left-leaning pro-Scottish independence site that calls out newspapers when they talk nonsense.
It's run by a Succdem who makes the SocDem/Socialist confusion, but it's undeniably on the lefty-leaning side of things. (It once put up a thing of what Scottish Labour should to to stop declining, I think in about 2012, that included essentially "Stop being Blairites and actually be Socialist, yeah, remember that thing? socialism?")

Not entirely sure where I'm going with this since the whole thing has largely slipped out of my interest as Scottish politics got boring and I realized just how bad things really were (i.e. I read the postwar history of social democracy.)
