United was using the ancap concept of 'voluntary' clearly

Well the guy is obviously an mental midget incapable of understanding how and why he should follow simple directions. Mental midgets such as him will be beaten and ostracized in any economic system. As well they should. As well they should.

:^)

t. Holla Forums

I kind of want the fascist utopia you guys dream of so I get to see you dragged off for being a mental midget

just a reminder that when you pay for a ticket for an airline. you are only removing the negative of you not getting on the plane. You are not guaranteed a flightplan and you are not guaranteed that guys with stars on their hats won't beat the shit out of you.

Yup.

what's the context?

United Airlines overbooked a flight(partly with their own staff) and forcefully removed a doctor that had an important patient consultation the next day.

Fucking dragged him off the plane and the video is all over the Internet. They publicly humiliated him. I hope he sues them for all he can get.

Specifically, they removed him to make room FOR their own staff. And they did so by force.

Because United Airlines' employees getting to work on time is worth brutalizing a doctor who also needs to get to work on time so that he can save lives.

Sickening.

I hope they enjoyed those two extra seats they cheated, I'm sure they were worth all the negative press this is going to get them.

And I hope you cheer this enthusiastically next time you get tricked out of a service you paid for only for some porky's money-making scheme, you class cuck. Hopefully you'll be a good boy enough to not show a shred of dignity and take it up the ass.

Giving customer service people an earful and demanding a refund is a lot more dignified than screeching like a child and being dragged out like a toddler by security, but hey what that the fuck do people who never grew out out of teenager's first political analysis of the world know about dignity anyway.

I'm not really bloodthirsty but holy shit are police and security people in for hell when society breaks down. It's not just poor minority communities seeing this shit any more.

so you're saying he should have been politically correct.

BTFO

I'm sure the patients he wouldn't get to see would definitely be reassured that at least he gave the customer service people an earful and demanded a refund

Are you joking me, nigger? Are you willing to defend a corporation this much?

Yes. Blame the guy who had the service he needed and payed for denied, and was knocked out by thugs instead. Cause there sure was a lot of screeching going around before the violence, and this was completely unavoidable. Planes are supposed to be monetized in such a way this happens, and my naive, undignified view of the world is what doesn't let me accept it.

You know what, go get that refund. You sure earned it.

How can Nazis reconcile hating gays with their love for sucking cock 24/7?

Learn when to cut your losses. When the flight attendant says you're off, you're off. Don't allow yourself to be dragged away like a child you're just making a situation worse and you're not accomplishing anything at all. I'm not so much defending the corporation as I am refusing to defend this silly mentality fueled by viral videos and shitty sensationalized click bait bullshit.

It really is like this board of full of high school freshmen who just wanna fight the power N shiet.

It wouldn't have had happened if he had hired his own private militia

You're delusional.

As opposed to being a class cuck while blaming DA JOOS for all our problems?

WEW

Looks familiar…

...

Sneaky old pig acting like he and his ilk don't fund death squads to protect his interests every day.

I haven't even watched the video. How does he act like a toddler? Please detail this for me.

He makes autistic screeching sounds and bleeds all over his face like a fucking idiot

Allowing yourself to be dragged away by security isn't childish?

We need a word for a spook who is also cucked now because of you

Webms for your dis-enjoyment.

...

...

god damn I love those yellow red smilling balls
but seriously the world works on force, that's the fundamental reality of everything, everything works on force, communism or capitalism its all the same as long as you can enforce it, force is truth, force is justice

It wasn't simple directions. They randomly picked him to get kicked off of a flight he paid for. It's not like he actually volunteered. The flight attendant who he got beat over could sit on the dame floor or the pilot's cock.

If you're not a Asserist don't call yourself a Not Socialist if you're serious about it.

...

Cause he's attacked by a tool.

I'm not a doctor, but it seems pretty clear he was knocked unconscious, which could pose serious health risks and disable him from doing his job (doctor) long-term. So these thugs are going to indirectly cause poorer health or maybe deaths (depending on what kind of doctor he is).

This guy gets it.

When he gets back on the plane he's repeating "they'll kill me" so he was fearing for his life from either the rent-a-cops or maybe someone at his destination if he's involved in organized crime or something.

This is a weird thing to be campaigning for while all of this could have been avoided very easily, if bumping passengers due to overbooking wasn't a thing. For all we know, this guy could have been the first to arrive to the plane, but since they picked a passenger at random at the end, this could have been a very bad loss to take for him.

Do you really think this middle aged doctor, instead of him being stubborn and really needing to be someplace else had been influenced by viral marketing videos and click bait? Or did you really need some more buzzwords to stuff in there? Cause this really is hard to defend if you don't get as preachy as you did. I mean, I don't think one can appeal to emotion or humanity with someone who thinks like you, and I get what you're trying to say, but don't you think there's a line to be crossed at some point? Something that would be so urgent to you that it would make you stop being rational?

But anyways, maybe, in the 🍀🍀🍀grand scheme of things🍀🍀🍀, this scandal (which I think has gone viral) will make overbooking be more frowned upon and actually change something.

So doing their jobs then.

...

Noice. I think we need to change the name from Holla Forumsyps to Holla Forumsite.

Is this comedy? Is this Real Life?

that's some top-tier porkery

I know there's no ethical consumption under capitalism but at least the other airlines probably won't beat you to a bloody pulp

I've done some reading on this and from it I have gleaned some interesting information. While the Contract of Carriage does allow an Airline to deny boarding for any reason, that only extends to boarding. Once a person has boarded and is sitting in their designated seat, they are no longer subject to an airlines CoC. They fall under FAA rules and regulations but even though FAA rules do allow for involuntary disembarkation and removal, the reason that this man was removed, they needed room for 4 pilots to make it to the louisville airport for a flight, this does not fall under the rules for involuntary removal. What this means is that no passenger on that plane legally could have been removed from that plane and the crew has no option but to get the 4 people to voluntarily leave whatever price that may have meant. So not only was this man beaten, bloodied, and knocked out by police at the behest of a corporation, he was removed illegally.

In conclusion I hate this fucking country somebody please nuke us already.

Wouldn't the Congo Free State be the ideal ancap society?

...

mfw this porky used the same excuse this classcuck did, the only difference being the tone

I hope he's proud to see his opinion validated by such an outstanding citizen.

jesus fuck

Kill the pigs.

And the media has the gall to wonder why they aren't trusted.

I believe you're underage faggot or so fucking poor you've never had to deal with airline services. At least with this video, he'll get a good compensation, otherwise getting a fucking refund is like talking to a fucking wall.

This guy is getting shat on but when a tankie defends police brutality they don't get near as many responses.

Because tankies are shitposters, the nazis is serious.

It's some faggot from r/the_donald, you'll quickly learn several hundred thousand of them are CEOs of Forbes 500 companies.

What if I tell you the airline is owned by Jews?

If you beat up a former drug user it's okay!

...

Kek, everyone needs to spread the rumor that United are paying people off to drag his name through the mud due to their stock drop. Make it drop even more.

Did it even drop though?

aren't the guards who forced him out black?

he doesn't even have to imagine anything about jews lol, there's his ooga booga boogeyman flooring a doctor yet still he cares more about his delusional ubermensch moral code.

I mean it's nothing new that fascists are all just looking for the first boot to lick. If one of those same black guards came up to him to enforce the rule of capital he'd be on his knees immediately. But he's no cuck though, just wait for him to give the customer service line a piece of his mind a week later!

Haha he trades oxycodone for sex and had his medical license revoked, HAHHAHAHA the memes are always true!

MUH DOCTOR ON HIS WAY TO SAVE LIVES

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH

...

Go back to reddit.

His medical license was restored in 2015.

They didn't do a fucking background check on the guy before they beat the shit out of him.

And yet he's still probably richer than you. How do you not kill yourself honestly?

Leftists worship the rich now?

lmao fight da powah!

Thanks

By a billion dollars.

No you dipshit. Under the capitalist system you bootlick so feverishly he is worth more than you. So do you continue in your delusion and worship the system, admitting he's worth more than you? Or do you continue to mock him and admit that the system isn't at all meritocratic, and thus the system isn't worth upholding?

Who am I kidding, you're just some autist from reddit who couldn't think critically if his life depended on it.

Bet they wish they had just upped their "volunteer" price another 400 dollars

If Holla Forums is gonna be raiding this board can they send some stass.erists or something instead of these plebbitors?

this user has a point

Porky isn't very good at long term planning

What does any of this have to do with a doctor that trades pills for sex trying his best to set up a lawsuit against united and fem brained leftists such as yourself being manipulated by the optics of the situation and giving him the Rosa Parks treatment?

REEEEEE

I can define any of the words if they're too big for you. It follows pretty easily if you can read it.

They were over here complaining about them before. It's their own fault tbh.

I bet their "fix" will be to fire one of the guards and pretend it was never their policy to begin with or something equally retarded

is this significant or just the regular market nonsense?

Too late for that, their CEO already admitted they "re-accommodated" the passenger in question as per their policy.

What don't you guys understand my logic?

Not significant in the wider sense but definitely enough to make some people really pissed off.

No it really doesn't, you're confusing criticism of a childish mentality with defense of abusive corporate policies as leftists usually do. Muddy the waters some more why dont you by dragging "human rights" into it as well. You can't do whatever the fuck you want on a fucking air plane for obvious reasons and people should make fun of you for acting like a fucking toddler.

Can you seriously just go embarrass yourself somewhere else?

404 argument not found.

He totally had it coming, I bet based United did a background check on that cuck beforehand. they're the true heroes of this story. Thanks, liberal media!

As much to do with the fact he had a criminal record has to do with him being removed of a plane due to a shitty business practice. And that "doctor to save lives" narrative originated in the people who recorded the video and spread it anyways, the only agenda those people had was the fact they had to witness something like that in a service they were using. How the fuck were they supposed to know this man committed a crime more than a decade ago and he was trained in Vietnam like the media does?

If going off this tangent from the beginning is not muddying the waters, then I don't know what the fuck it is. No matter the excuse, you choose to ignore the fact a passenger was picked at random and removed off a service he paid for, going off tangent after tangent, when he could have been anybody.

Arguments are to refute arguments. If you want an argument, please explain why you believe the airline has the moral authority to use violence to physically remove a paying customer? "I don't like this customer" is not an argument.

Do terms of service mean anything or is the customer always right now matter what?

Don't fight a battle you can't win, maybe you should read some Sun Tzu. Maybe the next time the nice police officer is two seconds away from blowing you away it's probably a good idea to just comply with the orders.

The guy being dragged off is not a victim, he knew what he was doing, fuck him, fuck you, and fuck outrage culture.

Hope whatever money he may win in court was worth being dragged away like a babby.

lmao

When does this matter ever? What does that have to do with anything? I mean really?

I think him getting dragged away was worth United Airlines taking $1 billion in stock damage, yeah.
Your arguments are weak and pitiful, like the German widows after all their husbands were slaughtered by the Red Army.

Ok let me restate. From where is their right to force derived? When you predictably answer with some variation of "they have the authority because they have the might to back it up", kindly explain how you are not just a bootlicker for the status quo.

Terms of service.

United Airlines stock drops $1.4 billion after passenger-removal controversy
fortune.com/2017/04/11/united-airlines-stock-drop/

This is like a slap on the wrist when you practically have a monopoly on the industry.

Whole airplane full of people virtue signalling about how horrible it is yet not a single person volunteeted to be booted from the airplane in the place of the good doctor (who had his medical license suspended in the past). Makes you think!

That's very nice and all but again, that has barely anything to do with what happened it comes across as you fighting a completely different battle than this is supposed to be, and it is indeed, muddying the waters. All of this could have been very easily avoided, and even if the passenger contributed, it's not ultimately his fault. He refused the 800 dollar bonus, he must have had a reason to do it, and the fact that those people were chosen at random and not even in order of appearance, as passengers affected by overbooking is in direct contradiction with how this is even supposed to work, and their terms of service don't authorize removal like that when you have been boarded iirc.

And I mean, overbooking isn't even a thing in my country. You bet I'm outraged seeing it, this in unthinkable behavior from a private company for me, and only due to a marketing practice. Just like in Burgerland a cop can arrive in the scene of a minor car accident, start blabbling incoherences and shoot someone who shows up with a wallet to exchange information with the the other part in the accident. What advice would you have given to that poor clueless sap, who had a fatass corp who shouldn't have been there sperg out on him and shooting him twice when he was coming out of his car?

Again, nice pragmatism I guess but you're ignoring a fuckton of problems.

I mean, same thing Sun tzu has to do with overbooked planes and people needing to use them.

Except not. Except none of this garbage would have happened if United wasn't a shit company.

Reminds me of a video I saw once of Standing Rock where the cops are screaming at the protesters about how childish they are, and how much they're disrespecting the State and the "people" of the State all while literally macing them and swinging batons at them.

Very good meme.

Rules are rules are rules. Order must be maintained. Take that flag off you clearly don't understand anything.

No you take off that flag. Nazi Germany was never about capitalism you idiot. Hitler hated the Jewish capitalism as much as he hated the Bolsheviks.

TRAPS ARE GAY!!!

Actually it's about ethics in aviation journalism

Is it true it was only a one hour flight?

Makes it all the more pathetic.

Traps are NOT gay!

Yeah, it is pathetic that United would have cops mercilessly beat someone over a one hour flight. It's almost as if Capitalists, and classcucks, have absolutely no respect for common human decency.

Lazy fucking leftists are all the same. 1 hour distance is easy to walk. Stop making excuses for him

Wow, I know mass full shit-post mode has been engaged for hours now, but a Nazbol being this degenerate?

That's beyond parody, m8.

I know right. What kind of fatass neckbeard can't walk for one fucking hour?

So why didn't United just fucking get a bus to drive the employees?

Not actually the terms of service. As pointed out upthread they only have the right to freely deny boarding. Deboarding is subject to much stricter FAA regulations.

americamagazine.org/politics-society/2017/04/11/united-airlines-debacle-isnt-about-customer-service-its-about-morality

Yes… YES!

NO!

Daily reminder that you have no rights and that at any time you can be savaged and abused by representatives of the domination hierarchy for the pleasure and amusement of the owner and ruling classes

There is no suffering like being a socdem planefag.

I mean, there's always the environmental argument (a few 727s still flying under a hypothetical still regulated system would probably pollute less than the current system with large LCC fleets.) that mass air travel simply isn't long-term viable, but even then it amounts to sucker-punching the hobby. (Since the argument in the modern context would really just be to scale back the industry. You couldn't re-regulate in interestingness.)

And so we're stuck with twin jet engines mounted on the wings forever.

What human decency and ethics?

t. "anti-establishment"

You are entitled to not be forcibly removed from a service you paid for when the reasons of doing so violate the terms of service and ignore standard procedures? (Being picked at random, removed from your seat once you've boarded?)

That being said I'm not him and don't blame the guards at all.

The guards acted in their own self interest
And "basic human decency and ethics" seems like spook

You know the guy you're responding to is a Holla Forumstard raider right?

Why? Its up to the company who do they want to allow to stay on their aircraft

Nigger i havent been on Holla Forums since early 2015, i have nothing to do with those idiots

Proper grammar violates the NAP after all

English is my 3rd language, its not perfect and it never will be

Also where i did make a mistake?

Either way, anyone here to stand up for United and corporate rights to exert your will with force is no leftist

The whole thing is so mangled I can't make heads or tails of what you're actually trying to say. My best guess is you're saying it's up to the company who is allowed to stay on their aircraft. In which case you'd be wrong, and their own TOS don't even give them the right to disboard paying customers after boarding in a scenario like this one.

I dont stand for the airline of corporate rights
I stand for not sperging out making a scene when employees ask you to do something

...

Exactly, accept your fate with dignity

t. "anti-establishment"

Which is a super autistic stance. Any meaningful discussion on this is about the authority that these companies have (especially considering their full control over a major method of transport) and their ability to exert force to enforce their rules. If you want to talk about people's personalities or gawk at a scandal you can go fuck off to TMZ.

According to their own regulations/tos, they can deny boarding. Furthermore, airlines recommend arriving early to your flight to avoid being left out due to overbooking, and denied boarding in advance. This was also ignored here, as they just asked for volunteers then picked a guy at random.

That's the extend of their own demands, and anything else violates your thrust with their customers, like this so clearly did. And I'm not even gonna go again into how this ugliness proves how irresponsible overbooking is.

...

- You, a mouth-breathing mental midget:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airlines_of_the_United_States
The air biz is hypercutthroat with razor thin margins with formerly huge lines going under every few years, and United certainly dug its grave with this stunt, all because it was trying to serve the greater good of its customers and some faggot wouldn't debark.
"Porky" is really the hero here. This is fucknut schlub paid $100 to sit on a chair in the sky thanks to porky but wouldn't inconvenience himself this one time and so now the grand Apollonian tale of United's struggle against human stupidity comes to an end due to one idiot.

I don't see you starting an airline faggot. The best leftists could come with is donkey piggyback enterprises with inflight mudpies. Galt's Gulch when? Who is John Galt, faggot?

He paid 100$ to be in a place, at a time, for reasons that were better than a 800$ compensation. United failed to provide this, and not only for him.

The plane was three hours late due to this shitshow. The only human stupidity they were fighting was their own incompetence. Yet after all this, United was the one supposed to be the one trying to serve the greater good of its customers, who are not even entitled to the flight they paid for? How could you be so deranged you defend what they did, regardless of what you think of the passenger?

Oh yeah. This deranged.

L E L
literally the worst that could happen is that they'll merge with someone else.

also it's worth noting that in the 1990s and early 2000s when porky could act more freely (because the FAA had a confusing dual mandate: promote aviation as a form of commerce, i.e. please porky, and promote aviation safety) you had airlines like ValuJet that sent planes up below the minimum equipment list, with engines that had cracks painted over, or Alaska where tail-control screws had repairs deferred until they literally snapped in flight and rendered the plane uncontrollable.

Honestly I still think ValuJet ranks among the coolest airlines ever. I mean at one point a jet took off, but the indicator that said whether the planes wheels were carrying weight (i.e. if it had landed) was broken, so the pilots had to pull the circuit breaker on it to get the wheels to come up. then when they were on final approach, they'd set the spoilers on the wings to deploy when it was on the ground - but they put the breaker back in before they'd landed, so they deployed fully while still flying and bonked the plane on the runway. I would unironically fly them if it'd knock $20 off my ticket.
(And their expansion was stratospheric. In a few years they went from like 1 jet to 50, and they only slowed down because they were running out of used jets in the model they flew, To be fair to them, the rate of expansion probably rendered effective oversight of repairs impossible, but you can't really credit porky for "Oh, well it's not your fault your desire for profit surpassed your ability to keep things under control." )

Oh, and then there's ValuJet 592, where a cheapo contractor put a bunch of oxygen cylinders in boxes without following the relatively simple instructions on how to render them flight-safe and tossed them on a plane and they caught fire. (And even that plane was a mess with a broken autopilot.) Reason for clearing out the cylinders? Another airline (Continental, iirc) was visiting and they wanted their repair facilities neat and shiny instead of having junk lying all over the place. So fuck it, let ValuJet deal with them, ship 'em home. Leftypol flight 507, you're cleared to climb porky levels that shouldn't even be possible at your discretion!

Oh, and then when ValuJet's name was obliterated in the public eye (ironically by the accident that wasn't their fault.) all they did was buy out a little airline called AirTran and swap the nameplates. AirTran is now part of SouthWest, but like I said to begin with: That's the worst that could happen to UAL too. Merger.
