The thing with bitcoin is that most bitcoiners are libertarians (scumbags). And it's a ponzi scheme that benefits mainly early adopters and miners with cheap electricity. If you bought/mined bitcoin when it was dirt cheap and held onto those coins, you are likely rich by now. For doing absolutely nothing at all. You are extracting surplus value from working people who buy bitcoins from you. And the surplus value of the workers who work for the bourgeoisie/petit-bourgeoisie who buy bitcoins from you.

I own some stock too. Day trading bitcoin is my primary source of income. And stocks, bonds, etc. are my secondary source of income. I also make a little bit of money from the pokies (sports betting). People respond to incentives. I didn't want to wagecuck for pennies all my life. So I decided to take up something that would allow me to make some money without doing much work. Or doing work that I absolutely abhor (interacting with humans - shitty bosses, shitty co-workers, shitty customers, etc.)
