FUCKING OF COURSE

...

You have to go back.

SYRIAN ATTACK WAS A FALSE FLAG

youtu.be/MnSAB4qeDug

...

What's more worrying is that the Russians have cut their communications lines with US forces in Syria that were designed to keep Russians and Americans from killing each other. It could just be a symbolic move to protest the strike, or it could indicate direct confrontation between Russia and the U.S.

Expecting a much more active news thread than usual today, so let's break down the strike that just happened in Syria.

From what I've seen from reading threads on Holla Forums, Trump's damage control squad is trying to spin the strike as a good move in three major ways.

1) It's not a big deal because the Russians and Syrians were notified beforehand (conflicting sources dispute this). It's just a warning shot.
2) It asserts Trump's dominance and provides him with leverage in future negotiations.
3) It's a masterful piece of 879th-dimensional Go because it dispels the narrative that he's colluding with Russia.

First of all, I don't think he colluded with Russia to get elected. His election was a result of the Democrats betraying their base and installing Hillary Clinton after a blatantly fraudulent primary that would have seen Bernie Sanders nominated if it was on the up-and-up, but launching cruise missiles, at least before a proper investigation could be conducted, was completely unnecessary and counterproductive. The attack was a major strategic blunder with respect to defeating ISIS, because Assad is needed to fight ISIS unless Trump wants to put American boots on the ground, which the public won't go for. That isn't even taking into account the fact that the claims of Assad being responsible for the recent chemical weapons attack are sketchy at best, as he and the SDF were very close to defeating ISIS, so it makes no sense for him to suddenly do something that would jeopardize all of the gains he's made by attracting the ire of the international community. Bottom line, Trump just wasted $45,000,000 worth of cruise missiles to make the situation in Syria worse.

Trump's willingness to act on this type of shaky intelligence was, at the very least, a demonstration that he can't be trusted to think things through properly, and it's a costly demonstration if there ever was one. However, it must also be noted that the strike occurred while Xi Jinping was on a state visit to Trump's resort at Mar-a-Lago, suggesting it was timed so that Trump's Chinese counterpart couldn't immediately formulate a response to it, and the Chinese markets and the yen have taken a hit, so China isn't going to be happy with him, and Russia obviously doesn't approve of this either. Even if it was just intended to be a warning shot, the consequences of it will ensure that tensions are escalated, which was exactly the opposite of what Trump's voter base elected him to do, as evidenced by the fact that Hillary Clinton and several other notorious neocons support the strike. The conflicting reports from Rex Tillerson and the Pentagon about whether the Russians and Syrians were warned, or whether casualties occurred, also signify that Trump has no real ability to make the government act consistently, which is another mark against him.

At the end of the day, if this was intended to be a 74,458,903,849-dimensional Tetris move, it didn't succeed. There's no angle that allows Trump to gain from this, and he's lost a great deal.

Good post buddy

Worth a watch. Biggest point was ow trigger happy the US and🍀🍀🍀others🍀🍀🍀 were quick to condemn, assign blame and respond. They were waiting for an excuse.

Russians just being drama queens as usual

pretty good analysis
Another note is that Trump is now in a corner, what happens the next time there's another "gas" attack or "massacre"? He has no choice but to bomb now.

It also shows that Ivanka and Jared along with the neocons have fully won the civil war in the white house

Russia: 'We will not escalate military action'

Russia will not hit back at the US strike by escalating military action in Syria, Russia's government newspaper website Rossiiskaya Gazeta has reported.

The deputy speaker of the State Duma, Pyotr Tolstoy, told the assembly at a full session: “How can we respond? Of course not by escalating military actions, not with Iskanders [type of short-range ballistic missile], though of course that’s an important part of our forces.

"Yet that’s not where our strength lies – our strength is in our own understanding of the logic of events.”

The website said Mr Tolstoy called for “calm and logical action in defence of international law, justice – action like that of Russian President Vladimir Putin today”.

Meanwhile Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin instructed Mr Tolstoy to draft a statement to PACE [Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe] and to the OSCE parliamentary assembly about the US missile strikes against the Syrian base.

Russian Defense Ministry Decides on Expansion in Syria Follows Putin's Orders

U.N. says Syria action must abide by international law

Immediate action is needed to protect the Syrian people but it should be "rooted in the principles of the United Nations and international law," U.N. political affairs chief Jeffrey Feltman said on Friday.

"There can be no genuine protection if the parties to the conflict, government and opposition alike, are permitted to act with impunity and if the Syrian government continues to commit human rights violations against its own citizens," he told the U.N. Security Council.

U.S. cruise missile strikes on a Syrian air base were one step away from clashing with the Russian military, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev charged on Friday, underscoring the risks in U.S. President Donald Trump's first major foray into the Syrian civil war.

Nah with the line cut an attack like this wouldn't have happened. Since the US would have no way of warning the Russians they wouldn't risk provoking a direct conflict by destroying their equipment or killing their military servicemen

At least I think that's the logic behind the move

POSADAS IS GETTING STRONGER!

Also, Soviet Union mechanized their paratroopers, while US military has been dragging its feet to even get a shittier version of a Soviet BMP for 17 years.

What exactly does it mean "to mechanize its paratroopers"?

It means they have IFV's.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMD-1

The usual role of a paratrooper is to drop behind the front line, accomplish an objective, then link up with the army. What kind of trouble do you think they can get up to when they actually have armor support?
