why are so many right wing folks also huge cospiritards?

Is there a link between conservatism and being paranoid and delusional?

Untreated mental illness.

idk, maybe you can piece the following together while i have breakfast:

there is a link between conservatism/racism and stupidity according to canadian long-term studies.

if you are one dumb thing then you are also likely to be all the other dumb things like racist, sexist, homohpobe, etc.

if you believe one conspiracy theory you are likely to believe all of them

the aliens-are-real-and-there-are-UFOs-at-area51 conspiracy theory was spread by intelligence agencies, including "real" documents that they leaked to the people who took photos of the military planes that were being tested there, so people didn't investigate the secret new planes. according to adam curtis in Hypernormalization.

lolberts love conspiracy theories

lolberts are often right-wing

remember that "right-wing folks" = democrats and everything to their right.
if you want to talk about nazis, then call them nazis.

It's because they believe the current system/society is perfect, but has been 'corrupted' by outside forces.

Lol I just started watching thatcdocumentary yesterday and it was interesting at first. Then I fast forward towards the end and it was some sad music with little girls dancing. I noped out pretty quick. It was literal propaganda just like zeitgeist and other YouTube docs.

Oh noo society is decaying omggg.lol I can't take it tbh.

I already figured where it was going

well that's a nice way of articulating my point here. Much better than me

thenewinquiry.com/essays/i-want-to-believe/

It is propaganda

You are part of the problem

Good shit

Paranoia is completely justified and many conspiracy theories are true. It's just that said conspiracies are enabled by the economic system we live in, as opposed to Jews or lizard people. This is what most conspiracy theorists don't realize, because many of the people making up the most ludicrous conspiracy theories are government spooks trying to discredit the conspiracy theory community.

Capitalism is the ultimate conspiracy.

what is it propaganda for?
and are there any factual errors in that documentary? because in other films he made a lot more spectacular claims and they all turned out to be true.

youtube.com/watch?v=x1bX3F7uTrg

it's a shame that investigation into these things is often left to right wingers and christians because even a cursory look into the history of CIA operations (things like operation northwoods, the phoenix program, GLADIO) will reveal precedent for a lot of things "conspiratards" are paranoid about

Sure, a lot of them go to the point of retardation, but a healthy amount of distrust for the media, state, and academia is very healthy and is a more direct path to truth than anything they're feeding you.

Very much so, even a biological link
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biology_and_political_orientation

Mystical thinking is a mental illness and most common amongst emotional driven right wing oriented people.

It's not about having distrust but how you go about it. Applying magical entities as some foreign enemy force is what they do. There's a reason why they're so allergic to materialism.

is it really a "conspiracy" then and not rather simple class interests being pursued? conspiracy says "a group of people manipulating or creating events for own gain" - that's so vague and is just asking for putting some vague evil agenda by mystified foreign forces rather than analysis of material conditions. does it not?
conspiracy implies it'd be something extraordinary, but these things, while being presented as scandalous outliners, they're very much inherent to the system and don't seek to destroy it but exploit it in favor of one or another group within the ruling class.

...

Conspiracies address a very important part of the "system", which is dishonesty and bad faith. It's a quick, simplistic explanation for it. The problem is that obsessional denunciation of "conspiracy theories" tends to stop here and be blind to these things, which even dumb people can see.

...

Just like marxists believe the system has been corrupted by the patriarchy, capitalism and imperialism?

But they don't. :^)

...

what I don't get is how they can be so hypocritical? Like Donald Trump attacking the government for spying on him but then hes ok with the government spying on everyone else?

Like do any right wing tards not see this?

Fun fact, during the cold war the CIA literally collaborated with fascists in western Europe to disrupt and destroy leftist movements through false flag operations.

Here is a fun blog i found that writes about the deep state, the person that owns the blog has also written about the far right and their connections with secret societies, the occult, and other shady things.

Pretty fun reads if you are bored

You know statsi and the like was justified when CIA was doing shit like this and worse in East Germany.

Because their worldview is not anchored to any sort of objective reality but pivots based on their own emotional truths.

They believe that their system was once perfect (or at least nearly so) and that is has been corrupted by subversive outside forces working secrecy. Right wing thought in its entirety is based on a delusional view of the past and a belief that it was corrupted by secretive forces. These are used to obscure the systemic problems of "the system" itself by blaming it on outside conspiatory groups, rather than fundamental to itself.

But be wary of calling people "conspiatards". Many people who claimed things that turned out to be true were called conspiracy theories. A conspiracy is not necessarily crazy talk, and its not unlikely that the intelligence agencies and propaganda agencies use, if not fund and promote, real crazy people to lump actual conspiracies in with them to discredit them.
Just take a look at people like Alex Jones. He is a crazy idiot rambling about aliens and chem trails and shit, but he also talks about shit in our water, which turned out to be true (lead in flint). Theres many such examples of conspiracies that turned out to be 100% true, such as CIA mind control via LSD and shock therapy[1], the CIA funding the Dailai Llama[2] or even the Bilderberg group[3], which is a very public group that is basically "da illuminerty". Don't discredit conspiracies just for being conspiatory, this plays right into the hands of actual secret groups which seek to further an agenda.

They don't care about freedom, only about ethnonationalism. Spying people who are against immigration is bad, but anti immigration people spying the "pozzed" ones is good.
In other wordwordes, there is no bad methods, only bad targets.

also Fema camps, the government has concentration camps in the USA connected to trains.

Right wing tards think its for them but who knows there could be some rogue CIA element or something that wants to start a genocide in America.

There was also the fact that the CIA was funding hacks people like Jackson Pollock and even had their own leftist front magazines that even writers like Neruda unwittingly contributed to.

Then there's pretty much every military coup of the mid to late 20th century bring lead, aided, or funded by the CIA.

And while we're at it Henry Kissinger should be flayed alive.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Plot

The Business Plot was a political conspiracy in 1933 in the United States. Retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler claimed that wealthy businessmen were plotting to create a fascist veterans' organization with Butler as its leader and use it in a coup d'état to overthrow President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In 1934, Butler testified before the United States House of Representatives Special Committee on Un-American Activities (the "McCormack-Dickstein Committee") on these claims.[1] No one was prosecuted.

At the time of the incidents, news media dismissed the plot, with a New York Times editorial characterizing it as a "gigantic hoax".[2] While historians have questioned whether or not a coup was actually close to execution, most agree that some sort of "wild scheme" was contemplated and discussed

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Gladio

Operation Gladio (Italian: Operazione Gladio) is the codename for a clandestine North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) "stay-behind" operation in Italy during the Cold War. Its purpose was to prepare for, and implement, armed resistance in the event of a Warsaw Pact invasion and conquest. Although Gladio specifically refers to the Italian branch of the NATO stay-behind organizations, "Operation Gladio" is used as an informal name for all of them. The name Gladio is the Italian form of gladius, a type of Roman shortsword. Stay-behind operations were prepared in many NATO member countries, and some neutral countries.[1]

The role of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Gladio and the extent of its activities during the Cold War era, and any relationship to terrorist attacks perpetrated in Italy during the "Years of Lead" (late 1960s to early 1980s) are the subject of debate. Switzerland and Belgium have had parliamentary inquiries into the matter

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategy_of_tension

The strategy of tension (Italian: strategia della tensione) is a theory that Western governments during the Cold War used tactics that aimed to divide, manipulate, and control public opinion using fear, propaganda, disinformation, psychological warfare, agents provocateurs, and false flag terrorist actions in order to achieve their strategic aims

The term strategy of tension recurred during the trials that followed in the 1970s and 1980s Years of Lead ("anni di piombo"), during which terror attacks and assassinations were committed by apparently neofascist terrorists allegedly related to Operation Gladio

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paladin_Group

The Paladin Group was a far-right organization founded in 1970 in Spain by former SS Colonel Otto Skorzeny. It conceived itself as the military arm of the anti-Communist struggle during the Cold War. Ostensibly a legitimate security consultancy, the group's real purpose[citation needed] was to recruit and operate mercenaries for right-wing regimes worldwide.

The Paladin Group was also allegedly allied with a number of other right-wing governments, including Salazar’s Portugal, and some of the Italian neo-fascists involved in the strategy of tension attacks of the 1970s and 1980s. The Paladin Group also held offices in Zurich, Switzerland

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda_Due

Propaganda Due (Italian pronunciation: [propaˈɡanda ˈduːe]; P2) was a Masonic lodge founded in 1945 that, by the time its Masonic charter was withdrawn in 1976, had transformed into a clandestine, pseudo-Masonic, ultraright[1][2][3] organization operating in contravention of Article 18 of the Constitution of Italy that banned secret associations. In its latter period, during which the lodge was headed by Licio Gelli, P2 was implicated in numerous Italian crimes and mysteries, including the collapse of the Vatican-affiliated Banco Ambrosiano, the murders of journalist Mino Pecorelli and banker Roberto Calvi, and corruption cases within the nationwide bribe scandal Tangentopoli. P2 came to light through the investigations into the collapse of Michele Sindona's financial empire.[4]

P2 was sometimes referred to as a "state within a state"[5] or a "shadow government".[6] The lodge had among its members prominent journalists, members of parliament, industrialists, and military leaders—including Silvio Berlusconi, who later became Prime Minister of Italy; the Savoy pretender to the Italian throne Victor Emmanuel;[7] and the heads of all three Italian intelligence services (at the time SISDE, SISMI and CESIS).

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation against the Cuban government, that originated within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other U.S. government operatives to commit acts of terrorism against American civilians and military targets, blaming it on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. The plans detailed in the document included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.[2] The proposals were rejected by the Kennedy administration.[3]

this is why I love the internet. CIA can't do these false flags anymore with out being called out on it by like 90% of the internet. 9/11 might have been a false flag as well.

Porky's playbook for strike breaking.

As if. See: occupy wallstreet.

They literally had snipers ready to assassinate people, in publicly released documents, and nobody seems to give a toss or even know about it.

Normies think you are tinfoil or are low info.

The first Acoustic Kitty mission was to eavesdrop on two men in a park outside the Soviet compound on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, D.C. The cat was released nearby, but was hit and allegedly killed by a taxi almost immediately

Theres so much silly shit in the world that I am willing to believe almost anything.

Meant japan, damnit.

which system tho

The Japanese specialized in biological warfare during ww2 to make up for the fact the american war machine was insane.
The bio hazard symbol is also oddly Japanese.

Before we nuked them they were planning on infecting california with the plague.
Unit 731 had already done this many times to china and the Philippines

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Cherry_Blossoms_at_Night

Operation Cherry Blossoms at Night was a 1945 plan developed by Shirō Ishii to wage biological warfare upon civilian population centers in Southern California in the United States during the final months of World War II, using pathogens created by members of Ishii's Unit 731.

I think it's more about "jewish moloch worshipers rape babies in some Pizza restaurant" conspiracies than "cointelpro breaks up dissidents, also the government spies on us" ones(which aren't even doubted by anybody to begin with)

Woah

That was just a war effort tho. Not a conspiracy.

Most people see this as "wow I knew Pollock was a hack" but I've always thought it was interesting that the CIA saw an abstract expressionist painter as a counter to super realist Russian "muh strong communist workers" art.

No, the systems are the problem, some of which are or include capitalism, patriarchy, and imperialism. That's contrary to the conspiracism that plagues reactionaries like you.
