Has anyone else noticed how Sony barely showed off God of War 4? Notice how we always see the same environment during the same time of day with barely any gameplay. The Wiki is good! Its running well, the back and front end are fully stable minus that stupid error the Recent Changes page likes to throw. Bonegolem is still busy as shit but will implement HTTPS when time permits it. We're getting regular contributions from our regular editors, the backend protections apparently stopped an attempted DDoS attack with flying colors, and it looks like its ready to go into coasting mode.
I'm prepared to call Project Alexandria a complete success.

With the wiki matter seemingly all but settled, I got an itch to try something new. So I saw Ready Player One. Keep in mind I also read the book so I was expecting a terrible movie since the book was pretty shitty. That's not what I got. The movie is nothing like the book, not a single scene is properly translated. Only the broad strokes of the story are the same, every single aspect of the movie is entirely original, for the better I should add. Yes there is a lot of reference, but it never becomes distracting. The movie never loses focus on it's main characters, keeping the references to the background. The trailer overstates it massively. Plus, with the very nature of the oasis having videogame and movie characters appear makes sense. The Oasis scenes use a weird blend of live action and CGI. The main characters are live action except for their heads and hands, and certain scenes are entirely filmed on live action sets. They go to the Overlook Hotel from the Shining at one point for example, and it's entirely live action. This is actually where I noticed the main characters clothes were real. Unlike the book the movie actually has a message, a villian you want to see lose, and a very nice arc for the main characters. Also, I can see why SJWs hate it. It's antithetical to their entire world view. This movie is literally EVERYTHING SJWs hate about so called "nerd culture." You're all going to be pissed about this comparison, but in some ways it's "gamergate the movie." It features a grassroots army of gamers that have to fight and band together to take down a group of people that have weaseled their way into power so they can ruin everything and bend it to their will. Only through their pure talent and knowledge of inane bullshit can they manage to succeed. All in all I give the movie an 8/10. I was expecting a trainwreck but was very pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend watching it, give it a chance you won't be sorry. On a personal note, on the way into the theatre to find my seat, me and my friend had to sit in front of a group of nerds, one of them a chick that had painted herself red/pink. I later realised she was cosplaying as Artemis, the female character in the movie. I was surprised to find out she and her group were all shitlords, making fun of the diversity pushes in the trailers among other things. Added to the whole experience.
I was too, I really thought it would be a trainwreck of cringe. Rent it when it comes out at the very least, the trailers really don't do it justice.
