Actually, is there a cooldown on using your engine? I think what I perceived as input lag was simply that my engine wasn't ready to fire yet, so clicking and dragging wasn't doing anything. I would recommend including some kind of UI queue to indicate when the engines are ready for another burn.

I just recently released, going to put it on some bigger sites soon. Right now is a low player count.
It is calculated with strokes and your place compared to finish. Lower strokes and better placement = more XP and coins.
