So, since this just came out, did anyone else play it?
Enjoyable for what it was. A little cliche at times. Good checkpoints. It does some very innovative transitions and gameplay mix-ups for the co-op experience. Especially that ending sequence. Wish there were a little more branching options like with Until Dawn, while still keeping a cohesive story. One of the better games that came out this year. Might have little replay value since it lasts about 5-6 hours and a possibility of 2-3 endings, maybe more. At least you can enjoy some of the mini-games like connect 4 in-game.

Never ever. Even shit like Oxenfree had you skip a large chunk of the boring shit on your second playthrough, which you had to do if you wanted to get the good ending. And the B run of Nier: Automata was enjoyable because there's actual gameplay, and new shit to find.
Or, if I wanted to play this absolute burning trashpile, I'd pirate it, and invite my friend over, because it has splitscreen support.
The game has no singleplayer, it's online co-op or local splitscreen, and from what I've read, it forces you to play through again to see the other ending, dunno how true that shit is, but this bullshit is from that same guy who made Brothers A Tale of Two Sons, guess he wanted to make a console game with the same premise of two players working on the same shit.

Dude, wat? He shat all over mafia 3 in his review. He ran a mafia 1 fansite, it was indeed an amazing game, no wonder he may have had hope for it.
