Would NetNavi technology be possible, or even useful today? I think we're still a bit behind on a virtual AI that completely obliterates the Turing test, but that said, wouldn't AI's just be used to gather more information on us? I would imagine people buying commercial-grade ones and reprogramming them so they don't send any information out. But then, the question of ethics comes into place.
