Eidos had the rights years ago, Squeenix had it and made this and other IPs they don't care about as the "Square Enix Collective" letting the IP be used by other studios, but the one who got Fear Effect was an indie studio, they had a kickstarter, 1-2 years later we get this generic garbage.
