Just emulate the PS2 version. While the remakes are competent the originals are still beautiful games.

Yakuza 1 was shitty tho. dem load times, also PCSX2 fucked it all up. several crashes were had.

They're definitely worth completing but I can sympathise with getting worn out by them, especially Kiryu's. I absolutely detest it when games make you wait in real time for something, though you can at least speed up how long it takes to collect money in the CP menu. Take a break from the business sidequests if you need to and then come back later.

what are you talking about? The game runs virtually flawlessly aside from some Ghosting. More importantly, I am taking about emulating Yakuza 2. Yakuza 2 has only a few minor issues (that can be worked around by changing the rendering settings) only crashes in chapter 10 if you are using a virtual drive and not loading the ISO directly.

Starting at Kiwami is probably the best. Start at the original PS2 game if you can stomach the dub, shit camera and loading screens
