Galimulator is a shitty android game that I downloaded to have something to do while waiting in lines. It's a small game that basically simulates a small galaxy with it's own politics which you can observe and influence with small things without actually taking part in the action although there is a possibility of controlling one of the empires, it's shit think of it as something like Species but with Space Opera theme instead of an evolution one. It's not very complex, but it's engaging enough to keep you busy while you drive the bus or something, sometimes an alliance forms between the factions or an eldritch horror appears in the galaxy or something interesting like that will happen and you can root for your favorite empire to do something.
The point is, you shouldn't, this thread is not about the game itself as much as a small idea that popped up in my head. I downloaded a shitty android emulator and the game onto my PC. I simulated the galaxy until there are no planets that are left neutral and tinkered around so there are as many factions as I could do with the initial setup. I want to play a small game.
You take one of the visible empires from the map and you choose: And watch how they fare in comparison to other empires chosen by other anons. Seeing that we had fun memeing things like Hunger Games for a while, I think this might have some potential too.
Seeing that rebelions are a thing in this game, and they lead to the creation of new factions, I'll try to include every single faction into the game. Whenever a rebel faction manages to take enough stars to be an actually important player in the galactic politics, I'll rename it to the last thing an user suggested. So if your Principality of Greater Space Israel or The Galactic Third Reich didn't get into the game, they might whenever an Empire starts degenerating. All Empires are currently at tech level 1 and Fortifying which means that they won't expand that much and focus on defending their provinces that will change later on as their states change. Transcendence is disabled which means that Empires won't disappear after gaining enough tech levels.

How do Specials work? Lowers research, gives military bonuses Will go to war with other Empires more often More likely to make peace, gives defense bonuses, builds gun boats. Gives research bonuses, makes Empire build science ships Less likely to change political status, which means that they will rarely go from Fortifying to Expanding, to Degenerating and so on and so forth. The opposite of the above Early combat bonuses which they slowly lose The opposite of the above, combat penalties early that they lose with time. Relationship bonuses, more likely to make peace and alliances Military bonuses but huge research penalties Shouldn't go into wars and alliances too often but has defensive and research bonuses Expansive but will not develop worlds Makes the world produce more wealth Only expands through missionary work Builds lots of ships, and generally develops faster, makes the Empire build motherships

We start out the end of Holla Forums-Kangz war, they seem to have given up on cleansing the world from niggers at least for now, and being unable to sell his games to blacks, Todd decided to still target the same areas trying to sell his game to the brown elves now. LABO and the Nose Cabal are two new countries, but nothing much has happened with them as for now.

Coalition of Misogyny joins the international community, Lewd Elves are expanding and the entire world is in absolute fucking chaos. Americas are even more of a mess than they were before, and Asia is not much better.
Normal Elves are reclaiming some territory, while most countires sing peace with the Kangz and Brown Elves. At the same time LABO is slowly growing in size, so are the Jews and then… the MGF goes to war with Pinochet.
The Elves celebrate 30 year birthday and… holy shit, Todd is actually slowly winning Africa from the Kangz and the Brown Elves. They are all buying Skyrim now.
They people of this Empire could already be fathers if they didn't run away everytime they impregnate a female. Todd is a global cult by now, having territories almost everywhere besides Asia for some reason.
Heavenly Kingdom of Peace is 30 and the brown elves seem to be unfortunately losing territory, I guess they will finally end as sex slaves in different parts of the world as they deserve And wish to.

Just lower the number of countries that spawn in the options menu. If it's at 13 right now make it 6. Empires won't despawn but they wont spawn after they are defeated. We only have 4~ countries so it's better not to wait an hour to get all 13 slots made by 3 anons in the thread.

Good to hear OP. If you're interested, in your absence I made a save state roughly of present day Earth. I still need to tweak it a bit to make it even since as of now Brazil and China eat every country in their wake. As you might expect, countries such as Russia and Canada have an advantage since they have such huge size. This is fixed with a 4 level tech rating. So even if Russia is huge, it starts with a lvl 3 tech. Unlike countries such as the USA, China, Japan, and the UK. Examples: Tech1: Congo Tech2: Egypt Tech3: Canada Tech4: United States of America Tech6:Israel

I'm finally back and I'm going to continue the thread now. As for user's suggestion , that might be a really good idea but not right now as I want to play with the map we already have for now.
This is the current situation in the world. I'll rename the countries I can in a moment.
Baneposters and sandiniggers are in an all out war for Africa while Phil Collins and Nokia enter an alliance. Bash the Fash is controlling the entirety of Europe and the Tanned Mexicans&Tomboys control both of Americans trying to eat up Japfari Park.
I can name one of teh two countries in Asia like that if you want user.
Hikikimoria will also survive as Phil Collins decided to let them do their own thing, sitting in Australia, hiding from all the terrifying animals and shitposting on anonymous message boards.
Japfari Park and the Taco Tomboys have singed an alliance, but more importantly Baneposters are absolutely fucking crushing Bash the Fash with no survivors.
This is basically one giant standoff between two enormous Empires with them pumping out ships and constantly trying to take over Greenland while Samsung is trying to rape Baneposters. Both the TTT and Big Guys are trying to take over Greenland, although Baneposters are focusing their motherships on the Samsung Empire. They have a whooping 4 of those fuckers, while the TTT has one of the heading to Europe. At the same time TTT has more ships in general. Also Greenland is being protected by a neutral ship which was helping out the MGF in the past. Japfari park anihilated a Jewish artifact built by Todd.
Islamic State has been anihilated and now Big Guys 4U control both Europe and Africa, I guess they are The Leauge of Shadows by now. They are incredibly big 4U.
TTT decided to fortify probably to ready themselvs for the eventual Baneposter onslaught they are going to eventually suffer once Greenland is in hands of someone.
We have yet to mess around with the dynasty system, i know that at this stage it might not be worth the effort to remember later on but what are the captains of thoses ships?

Have a look at the Big Guy Emperor dynasty. Also seems that the type of an Empire changes what name the ruler role has, for example it can be King, Emperor, President and so on, but I do not yet know how to change the government type.

There are functions with importance that I didn't realize were there before. We can actually see the diplomatic relations of countries. This is for example relations of Big Guys with other countries.
Okay here's the question, should we actually start renaming the dynasties and rulers of the countries? Or would that be too much bullshit to go through? I'm not going to name every single fucking person because fuck that, there's too many of them, but naming a dynasty and the rulers of the countries seems to be doable. We could also name the more important people, for example captains of famous ships and such.
Oh, now i cry for the spilled milk. Image what thoses guys from back them would do with all of this. Also dynasties go away from just one empire, sometimes the same family might have leadership of other star around and that is what actually makes a system try and break away from a bigger empire after certain conditions are met.

Yesuo is engagind the neutral mothership full of kids, though the Captain and one of the Ship Officers have grown up already.
Shit, Yesuo was just crashed I have no idea if with no survivors or not! But the Baneposters still have 5 other Motherships, they are building them very fucking quickly. Maybe they are planes.

Nevermind, some of the pop ups are joking and don't actually give you that much information about what exactly it means, although you can kind of gather what it does.
I'm assuming this allows your character to make a person advance in the ranks of the Empire quicker, as it says that those people do good in job interviews. Unlikely to leave his employer, probably lowers the chance of this person rebelling against his own country. Loves space and won't leave it easily, probably a trait that makes your character less likely to get a job as a ruler of a star or a bureaucrat and will more often stay on ships. Hates space, will not accept jobs as ship crew volountairly, prefers to stay on land. If an Empire has a character with this trait, scientific advancements are made quicker. Increases the chance of the person rebelling against his employers, following his own path. Repairs ships faster. That's it. Will not change jobs Has bad luck, not sure what exactly it means He was woudned in battle, his prestige goes up because of the scars. He was chosen to have a great destiny, not exactly sure what that means. Increases the wealth of the Empire It's called that but it's actually the backstabber trait, will kill other people to raise up his rank. Cannot have children yet

The captain himself is named Sares Kulak of the… Kulak dynasty. So he is actually from the same dynasty as Yaromir, so he's actually a Potemkin aristocrat. His grandparent was a Stellar Governor with a munity trait, while his father just an aristocrat… and a moron. He still has siblings that are alive, but no children.
Now here's a shocker, there is one person with a bright trait on the board Jiaohuang the abusive. But he's a child and the other person is a moron, a greedy bastard at that but on the other hand, the captain is a Spacer Mechanic by the name of Gener Serartatos. His dynasty are mostly bureaucrats and Stellar Governors, nothing to write home about. His father is a middle-ranking bureaucrat, a Regional official, he had lots of aunts and uncles but they are all dead, he still has siblings that are alive though. One of them is a Stellar Governor whose child has died by a Job hazard.
The family fell quite a lot in recent time, from 1 to 16, might have been because of the number of folks that died and sons didnt actually picked up the charges

I accidentlally clicked on a maintenance ship, but what I found is so fucking interesting that I'm going to post that. The Flagrant seems to have a bright future ahead, as the entirety of it's crew is incredibly loyal to it's captain… one of them is a landlugger but I don't see him deserting. The captain (Under Vonnte) himself is Bright and Frugal, now his dynasty is really fucking interesting. His dynasty is filled with high and middle-ranking bureaucrats, and two people in the actual government of two countries, both Internal Ministers one for Big Guys 4U second for Greatest Gondola. His Grandfather, Undenese Vonnte was a Frugal Spacer but also a Stellar Governor. Now this is where it gets really interesting, the father of Under is actually listed as unknown child of Undenese when you click on him. I don't know whether that's a bug or whether that means that it's an illegimate child. Mangode Cislathere is the Emperor, a previous Military Minister of a smaller unnamed country, he is bright and charming. His dynasty didn't do anything too interesting, though he has a fairly big family.
I'm taking names for the new country Don't add Specials of the person, because I won't add them as I found out that you cannot change the people specials, just add them. You can rename him and his dynasty though.

I've finished 2 versions of the Earth map for you; one that is 2000 stars and one that is 6500 stars. I've made them as accurate as possible and the larger one contains every country on earth, excluding mirco-nations like Vatican City. They are all named accordingly and have respective tech rating dictated by their quality of live index and IQ stats. On the larger map some more popular countries have specials like America's Capitalist one, but I didnt go to the trouble of giving every african country a themed special. Every special that is on the map is based on the country.
You can "install" the saves by going into your directory and replacing/inserting the saves into your base folder. They should be renamed "save_slot_0.dat" and "save_slot_3.dat respectfully. I dont know if there is any data inside the dat files that say what save slot they should go in, but if you have a save you dont want to replace, simply save it in a different folder and replace it after.
To be honest, there isn't really any reason to use save0, but I made that originally and feel upset that all the effort I put into it was immediately superseded by the 6500 star one. I suppose the only reason you would use the smaller one over the bigger one is that when running at 64x speed on a mid level computer, it can drop to 5 fps. But otherwise the large one is superior in every way.
