Grapes of Wrath is literally hands down the worst book I have ever read.

I'm reading Kafka's Castle right now

I prefer something with sound if I'm looking for fun.

Gaddis, Pynchon, Faulkner: the list could go on…

what was bad about it? i haven't read it

requesting japanese supremacy flag lol

This shit is my jam.

I've been meaning to read more but books are expensive and my autism requires that i own a physical copy of whatever i read.

come back when you graduate high school.

delet this

Nope. I usually stick to nonfiction or scientific books in my free time or play video games.

Yes, a lot of it is fa/tg/uy shit though.

I read mostly short stories because I don't have a lot of time. Tenth of December by George Saunders is one of my favorite collections. He's also just a generally cool guy

I mostly read theory and am not too knowledgeable about fiction but I do love reading Kafka, Borges, Pynchon and Robbe-Grillet.

Yeah

East of Eden is Steinbeck's best

It's ok famrade we can have common ground

Borges is 100% based.

You mean Marx?

wow i can't let this thread die with this self-own hanging there. ayn rand literally wrote libertarian fanfic

I love books/fanfic where humans meet and get along with aliens/furries/etc. Not saying it's great literature or anything but it makes me smile. Especially the ones where humans are shown a better way of doing things (then again I don't like it when the misanthropy gets too out of hand either).

The Silmarillion is super good. Might read it again.
