Holla Forums, Why do commies make so much better music than fascists?
Example – Erika: youtube.com/watch?v=LZDJUTYDiq8 Sounds like I'm fighting for a tooth fairy or something. Fascist music have a semblance of fucking Walt Disney tunes.
it's like the ideology overflows from the screen, like the sea in a turner painting
Tyler Allen
March music is uninspired trash whose sole aim is achieving effective propaganda at the expense of any sort of artistic ingenuity; it is nothing but concentrated spectacle for spineless cretins with a fetish for goose-stepping.
Christian Richardson
Fascism is very reliant on having great imagery. It is a deeply Romantic movement that essentially seeks to make myth and legend into reality, to "bring back" an idealized, romanticized image of the past that never existed and then fight against evil like in the old sagas. This is immaterial and purely emotional, so without proper aesthetics they'd never arouse the passion of anyone.

Fash kill all the talent in there country.
Communists let them do their thing. As long as it's patriotic and strong sounding.
Artists in soviet union had a great deal of freedom of expression; pretty much the only thing that was forbidden was anti commie propaganda. Of course that's still dangerous, but if you know how to move without pissing off the party you could do anything. ANYTHING. plus the red army choir is based.
Colton Williams
Bullshit. Stalin quashed the vibrant avant-garde art life of the early USSR just like Mussolini turned his back on the Futurists who had supported him when he felt they were not politically useful anymore.
Totalitarianism destroys art not because it debases it but because it renders its very existence impossible.
Kevin Watson
It's like I time travelled back to the 1980s
Gabriel Peterson
Erika is a rural working class German army march, it is named after a flower. Commie music sounds like what the bourgeois listened to before they got gulaged, the common man didn't listen to crap like that.
Jayden Cruz
As opposed to…?
Hudson Evans
Almost all music in the West before a certain point is like that user. The common man didn't really listen to music up until really recently, at least not for entertainment.
Colton King
Nazism was but italian fascism was deeply tied to futurism.
Anthony Foster
Totalitarianism? That's where, like, people tell me what to do, right?
Kayden Williams
You fucking delet this bc De Souza is a golden god
Jace Brown
The original internationale, hidden for over a century because it was TOO good. Colorized.
of all the war songs of WW2, only the german's sound like they're having a great time
Isaiah Miller
just because it's German doesn't mean its a Nazi version. There are plenty of German comrades
Blake Morris
nah look at the lyrics and the guys other videos
it's all about the german volk and nation
Isaac Hall
i stand corrected
Jayden Howard
Who the hell even makes a nationalist version of The fucking Internationale?
Austin Nelson
Oh, I don't know, Commies have been allowed to exist for over a century while Fascists were attacked by the entire industrialized world within a few years of their existence and exterminated. Begs the question, how come certain interests felt so much more threatened by Fascism than Communism? Oh, those interests created and ran all Communist regimes.
Logan Sanchez
You don't need artistic inspiration to defend the status quo and ideology replicates itself almost genetically through products and pieces of corporate art. Reactionaries are obviously going to make money parasitically harping against progress, but they don't create or transcend what already is while doing so.
Where as seeing past it and imagining a better society takes real creative talent and vision. That is not to say all leftists are inherently like this, but that the association of vision and needing creative ways to express new ideas go hand in hand.
Ryan Richardson
That's why they tend to be unemployed bums who spend their weekdays terrorizing the streets of Leftist cities by breaking windows and burning trashcans. Very revolutionary and imaginative. Leftists are the least creative people society has to offer. They're sponges to sub-cultures created and rejected by the masses. They can't even formulate coherent and articulate sentences, let along put forth anything of substance and or worth. They're dude weed on crack with a dose of estrogen and identity politics.
Leo Butler
I'm unemployed and I don't care, you can hate me now.
Angel Cook
And this is why communist nations fail. The eternal shift of responsibility until no one is willing to work to achieve anything and everyone lives in the dirt.
Brayden Perez
Haha, no. Paris Commune was destroyed almost instantly. The Western countries invaded Soviet Russia in 1918 to put down the Reds. Those same countries initially saw fascism as a bulwark against communism and were happy to trade with them, until Germany and Italy started threatening British and French imperial interests. And since WW2 the USA has toppled and subverted endless socialist states.
Nothing to do with da joooz, sorry.
Easton Baker
oh my god, you're a real human being and you actually believe this. There are people that actually believe this
Kevin Russell
Not a Nazi version Just a nationalist version of the internationale Which doesnt make too much sense
Erika is a very bad example, the lyrics aren't even slightly political. There are a lot of Third Reich songs that can easily compete with Soviet music.
I always liked the Internationale, you commies may be evil bastards but that one song is really good. I can't say which side has more good music though. Is there a commie Wagner?
James Morgan
Akari is the last person on earth who would be in favor of Fascism.
Xavier Williams
Well Wagner wasn't a fascist: he abhorred militarism and traditionalism.
But Lenin and Stalin both loved Beethoven: it was some of the only non socialist realist music allowed.
