Managers being rendered irrelevant by automation. The irony of ironies.

nobody has denied that ukraine had adminstration over ukraine.
that doesn't mean they should have had it to begin with

the suspect was wearing a shirt that said "LOL"

Not any time soon

The US will have to go through a civil war on the scale of the Russian Civil War before it becomes a dictatorship of the proletariat

Now that you mention it, it just dawned on me that managerial jobs are far, far more easily automated than manual jobs. Intredasting.

Fake News!

So you just have to program the managerial software to work towards democratically set goals and you can have workerowned means without managers or capitalists. Man the future is truly amazing.

I guess tbh they blended in well just posing as an edgy teen.

Oh, so we're still doing this, I see.

Thanks for these threads, OP. They're refreshing amidst the garbage that's been in the catalog lately. I'm now 8,000 miles away from home & this is what I miss about Holla Forums, the sharing of news/lefty news. I do wish these threads would have more discussion, though. Hopefully the longer they're around, the more discussion they'll get.

Can we get approval for one or more of these stories that are bigger, to have a thread created just for them? Someone could take initiative & just do it. The news threads are great, but could also serve as a "megathread" so to speak, so some stories aren't discussed as much. I appreciate these though, because otherwise there may be no real discussion or acknowledgement at all. So, I'd just like to see them expanded in some way as well.

Thanks again, OP. :3 Your effort is not unnoticed.

Can someone explain about Michael Flynn? Is he one that condoned torture or something? I remember some older controversy about him but cannot recall exactly.

If anyone feels a story deserves a separate thread, just create it. I don't think anybody would mind it or object to it.

there was some inter-agency conflict I think

I thought so, too. Seems natural. Thanks for your input. Just wanted to throw that out there.

we told you about iterative algorithm computer network decentralized planning bro

This is Seymour Hersh's view. Seems like he was against toppling Assad.

Your article seems like a better explanation. I'm really apprehensive about anything WaPo says, especially since their CEO Jeff Bezos has a separate contract with the CIA.

Good to know where people's interests lie & how they might shape the info they put out, if they own a "news" agency.

Besides the fact that WaPo was "so sure" about Iraq having WMDs before the war. If anything, I use their articles to get one perspective, while checking others.

Thank you for sharing this, though. Like I said, it's good to see other perspectives when looking into something.

what if russia and america are both bad things?

All states are bad things.

OP, where do you get your pictures from?

Some of these I got from another thread here on Holla Forums.

Taking bets on how Trump's term ends. Give the most detailed analysis you can.

Alternatively, let the end of your post number decide.

1: Trump loses to the Democratic candidate in 2020, Democratic candidate is an SJW corporate whore who drives people back to the Republicans in due course
2: Trump resigns, Pence becomes President
3: Trump and the Democrats both somehow lose to a third-party candidate in either 2020 or 2024, Reps and Dems dissolve in disgrace
4: Trump wins re-election but fucks up enormously, Democrats win in 2024
5: Trump's advanced age causes him to die in office due to natural causes, foul play is widely suspected
6: Trump dies in office by any means other than natural causes, shitstorm occurs immediately
7: Trump wins re-election but is impeached during his second term
8: Trump is secretly replaced by a robot duplicate that starts glitching out during the State of the Union address
9: Trump wins re-election, serves two full terms, Pence wins in 2024, socialism is destroyed forever, possession of Alunya pics becomes punishable by death
0: ''Pick one of the following:
0a. Trump is impeached sometime in his first term
0b. Some combination of two or more of the events of 1-9 occurs, you're allowed to describe exactly what this combination might be in a followup post
0c. Temporal distortion occurs, roll again
Dubs: Trump is impeached sometime in the latter half of 2017
Trips: Trump is impeached in July 2017 or earlier
Quads: World War 3 occurs as a result of Trump's dickwaving, Trump, his entire administration and most of the US government are arrested and jailed for almost annihilating the world and generally being capitalist dickheads, Richard Wolff survives the war and becomes the President of the new United Socialist States of America
Greater than quads: Full Posadism, aliens come to Earth and induct humanity into the Federation, Muke becomes President of Earth

In the interest of fairness, one person will not decide how things go. The result will be decided based on an aggregate of all rolls.

Nobody reply to that post until the 1377777 GET.

Rolling for a 5 or 6
A Jayalalitha type outcome. Hillary closely befriends Trump, gathers his secrets. Trump either dies of natural causes or foul play, shitstorm ensues Hillary tries to solidify another Presidential run using Trump's demise to her advantage. But her corruption due to taking foreign & black money bites her in the ass. She's convicted & sentenced to 4 years. She cannot run for office again for 10 years, but by that time, she's also dead.

Everyone wins.

This is why we can't have nice things.

At least you get to mix and match the 1-9 scenarios now.

It will be a bit before this get is gotten. The board's a bit faster nowadays, but still..

0. Trump is impeached sometime in the first term

Pence becomes President. Conservatards go full bananas. Accelerationism accelerates.

United Socialist States of America becomes reality.

The 77777 get shall bring full Posadism.

Where's the "is assassinated" option?

1. just kill me now fam.

Senate strikes down rule that aimed to prevent mentally ill people from buying guns

You do realize there's a history of political dissidents being diagnosed with mental illness in pretty much every single political system in history right? :^)

Most porkies delegate administration already, they still own it the place.

Or identity politics is dropped just as most of the world becomes uninhabitable and literally everything else gets turned into a co-ops.

Im thinking of this mostly in terms of clinical depression or things associated with extremely elevated risk of suicide, which is impulsive and often fails if the suicidal person doesnt use an extremely lethal method like a noose or, here, a gun.
I know theres arguments against it but its at least not completely and totally asinine like the "assault rifle" shit.

Trips don't lie.

please robotrump

There's actual one very simple thing that have been shown to greatly reduce the numbers of gun suicides. Amongst American veterans at least.
Gun safes.
I'm not kidding.

Seriously, I don't know why people are so hellbent on restricting mentally ill persons' rights.

The ACLU made a decent argument as to why this regulation, shouldn't be a thing. It's too sweeping, and not everyone banned is actually mentally ill and thus it stigmatizes them further.

since I get to choose I take every options at the same time

I have mixed thoughts on this mental illness rule being struck down. I understand that it could lead to government overreach and be used against possible dissidents, but then again, dissidents wouldn't necessarily buy legally–i.e., they would backdoor it and avoid background checks in the first place.

Also, expecting mentally unwell people to make rational choices for their safety might be a tall order. Even mentally healthy people make safety slip-ups or just forego basic gun safety altogether.

The best part is that our "carnaval" will begin next week. Could be pure chaos scenario soon.
But that isn't the worst thing happening now in Brazil. President Temer and his friends are shitting on the laws and working on reforms. It will be some time for the country recover from all thist shit.

are you in Rio? is it just happening just in Rio or are protests more widespread

Last I heard about anything coming from Brazil was some Holla Forums poster saying they had a "shiny new president." That didn't last long, did it?

I honestly would be surprised if he gets impeached before the semester is over. His grasp on the Congress Republicans is shaky at best.

Well yeah, but the managerial class getting fucked is a step in the right direction.

He's as rotten as it comes, but he didn't come from a nominally """""leftist""""" party like his predecessor, so Porky is perfectly fine with him and the media barely says shit about him.

Pff. The guy is an old career politician from the biggest power hungry party of the country. It was funny how he tried to build this "bridge to the future" project for the country, but everybody knows that PMDB (president's party) have no vision for the future. So now he's just trying to save his ass and his friends from shit like Lava Jato. And doing some shit reforms to appease neoliberal tastes.

I'm not from Rio, but i can say that the protests are not widespread. It's just in Rio.

damn, was trying for 7 get

Rolling for Posadism.

Good luck, President-elect Muke.

Damn. Oh well. Muke would probably be a shitty president anyway.

so were any of the flynn phone calls released or is he still considered innocent?

'cuz i'd really like to know what it is like when someone who doesn't have the right to negotiate wit hrussia negotiates with russia, and how this is a problem for USA when all it does is make a fool of Russia.

Gee I wonder if it had anything to do with Hoochie Minh.
